I wouldn't read too deeply into it.
It's just 1 game.
Crunch time is the last 5 or so mins of a close game. Simons was in there for some of crunch time..and some of it he wasn't in. I wouldn't worry about it.
He didn't start the game so it shouldn't be surprising if he doesn't finish it.
The 2 guys we know will always be in at crunch time if healthy are White and JB..then someone has to play center..which leaves 2 spots for Hauser, Pritchard and Simons.
Joe is trying to win the game so he puts the guys in who he thinks give him the best chance to win. Hauser being out there gives us more size, rebounding and defense. Simons gives us more ball handling and scoring punch. Pritchard is Pritchard - good player who can handle the ball, pass, shoot, his defense is decent, he can rebound. Hauser and Pritchard have been here way longer so it seems like Joe trusts them more..although he did play Simons a lot tonight.
Again, it's just 1 game..on a game by game basis, the closing lineup might change..depending on matchups, depending on who has the hot hand, etc.
