NO!

We need to hang onto Ray for when LeBron demands a trade out of Cleveland...if Danny can hit on a few more mid/late 1st rounders to ship with Ray Allen then we could have Pierce-James-Garnett, all my dreams would come true.

I voted yes, but think if we are trading Ray it should be for Jason Kidd.

Now that's one I would strongly consider.

I love Ray and hate Marion, but I think Marion is the better player. So my answer is yes.

Leaving Marion in to play with our bench like we do with Ray and Pierce just wouldn't work.

Oh man I hate to admit it but that one you would have to consider. We would have to find a shooter but damn.

Redd is limited. He is a great shooter but he is so one dimensional, after Wally I am shocked that people are even considering, and hell I liked Wally when he was healthy.

Why would the Suns trade Marion for Allen?

Marion wants to go somewhere he can be the man. KG and PP would still make him number 3.

I can`t believe 60% of people are in favour of this trade. Ray can be a number 1 option on a team, marion just a second or third. Marion can`t create for himself, he is dependent on other people around him, Allen can lead his team as the go-to-guy...

I can see why some would make that choice, but I don't agree with it. If KG wasn't brought in to alter the defense, I said all along that I would have rather added Marion than Ray as the defense needed the greatest improvement. But now with KG here all of the defensive chips fall into place. Posey's inclusion just excentuates the point. Ray for Marion puts Pierce on the 2-guard and hurts the offense because Allen's calling card is stretching the defense. Individually, you can compare the two players in a vacuum and believe Marion is the more versatile and thus impactful player, but, if you follow all of the dominos that would fall as a result, I'm certain personally that the Celts are better off as is.
