When a second allstar joins him they will be hard to beat...lets hope that will not happen this summer...We have at least one more season 2010 to win it.

In 2010 Lebron for sure will have his second allstar besides him...in Cleveland/Ny/Miami...Just imagine Wade/Lebron/Beasley trio in Miami...ufffffff

Somebody was bound to come out and say this..but nah..no man crush..I appreciate the way he plays..most times he just can't be stopped. I don't see why you can hate on a player, just because the press realizes how spectacular he is. They only talk about him because he is NASTY..and it can't be stated enough.. If Paul Pierce was on ESPN 24/7 nobody would complain. But since LeBron is from another team people don't want him to win it, so they don't have to see him on TV. As if we won't get Kobe or Dwight commercials all day if either Orlando or LA wins it...hah..

As you all know I'm a hardcore C's fan that can't stand the Fakers. Too many reasons to list.

LBJ is da man. he is the best player in the L.

Go Orl they can beat LALA and matchup well with them. CLE eh not so much.

Meh. Your overrating his play because of his athletic ability.. It happens often enough. Your guilty of the same thing the press is. Spectacular does not always equal perfect.

You should quote people. So they can be sure your talking about them. Makes it easier. :D
But mhm..since I'm basically the only one taking heat for LeBron here, this must be directed at me. If not..w/e..I'm answering anyways.. :P
So..not perfect? Ever seen a perfect player? I never have..don't think there has ever been a perfect player in any sport. What the hell do you want really? 'His athletic ability'?? You saying the only thing Lebron has is athletic ability? I think you got him twisted with JR Smith or Ricky Davis..can't be..wow..
The guy is basically a mix of Jordan and Magic..Dude puts up crazy numbers..triple doubles all the time..makes people like Mo Williams look like all stars..really..if he isn't spectacular..who is? Please...there is no overrating LeBron.

The guys is 6'8" and 265 of muscle. Has a handle like an elite pg and can shoot better every year. So I don't see how people are overrating him because he can jump high.

Vince Carter is overrated as a basketball player because of his athleticism. LBJ is just really that good.

Simple...........he hasn't done a damn thing to garner the props he gets. Ain't that hard to figure out really. Hell Paul Pierce deserves more hype than LeBron, one because he stuck with the Celtics during the good and bad and got a title to show for it...........that's a champion to me.

BTW, I'm not mad at anybody's opinions about who they want to win, I ain't' gonna lie if the Celtics was in it and my Lakers was out I'd probably root for somebody to win it besides the C's.

Orlando is the underdog, I'm rooting for them. Plus I can't help but like Dwight Howard, not only is he really good but he seems to be one of the genuinely nice people in the NBA. If it's Lakers/Cavs I'm going to have to root for the Cavs... deep3cl and Tonymontana I like you guys but it's the Lakers man, I just can't root for the Lakers (especially while Kobe is on the team and Phil is coaching).

LMAO...

Who has been the best player LeBron has played along side of? Larry Hughes? Mo Williams? I don't know what you meant by 'Pierce stuck with the Celtics during the good and bad'....LeBron has been in Cleveland his whole career...on the other hand..little Kobe wanted out of the Lakers 2 years ago..remember that?
And yeah..he didn't do anything great in his career...he is a scrub...he only took one garbage team to the Finals..than he took his last years garbage team 7 games with Boston, while Kobe couldn't do the same with a much better supporting cast...now he leads this half decent team to 66 wins and gets an MVP trophy...

I can't root for Kobe and the Lakers.

I can't root for the team that beat the Celtics.

I am room for the team that deserves to win the NBA Chip and that's the Cleveland Lebron Jameseses.

I'll never root for the Lakers, but I certainly do NOT want LeBron to win a title. I don't think I can handle the media ball washing that will ensue. Hopefully, Orlando can take care of business tonight and I can go about my business.

The book would be the length of war and peace.LOL.

I just love to see them down for some period of time. The need a 10 year stint like what Memphis is going through.LOL. Now that would be great. :D

This is going to be an unpleasant finals to follow. It's a lose-lose situation for me. Ultimately, I absolutely want the Lakers to lose. I do not want to see Phil Jackson break Red Auerbach's record. I also don't want to see the founder of a business I despise getting a championship, but not quite as much as I want to deny the Lakers. :x

I'd love for the Magic to win. The Lakers have the least likable player in the league, an adoring fanbase in the mainstream media and are only good because they were one the winning side of one of the most lopsided trades in recent history. I'm still pissed at the Grizzlies for trading a 28-year old all-star big man for Kwame Brown, a PG prospect they quickly traded and a 2nd-round pick.

The Magic are annoying for their somewhat gimmicky style of 3-pt bombing, and their recent defeat of the Celtics, but they redeemed themselves with that thoroughly satisfying humiliation of the clownish Cavs and the generally pleasant way they carry themselves on the court (Hedo, Rashard and Dwight aren't exactly lovable, but they're difficult to hate too).

I also think the Magic have a great chance of "upsetting" the Lakers. They've proven to be a match-up team. The C's couldn't guard their quick 4s without KG (and Powe would have been better than Baby) and the Cavs couldn't guard Dwight. Meanwhile they defend the 3 very well and they do a good job funneling penetrators into their big man. Kobe's mid-range game could cause them problems, but Lee and Pietrus are at least capable defenders. The Lakers hopes really depend on their big men trio. Bynum must be able to guard Dwight without fouling, Pau must be able to punish Hedo or Shard in the post and Odom must have an impact off the bench.

I predict Magic in 6 again.

Magic are the better team. Their weakness at the point is actually a strength against the Lakers. Gasol not strong enough to get his shot off against Howard. Kobe will be contained by multiple defenders turning him into a jumpshooter. Odom vs Lewis would be interesting if Odom actually shows up. Lakers will not have faced as determined and effective defensive squad all playoffs. Neither Odom nor Gasol can contain Howard (and Bynum would do nothing other than get Orlando into the bonus that much quicker) so expect a double from the perimeter, likely Kobe. It will be pick your poison, Orlando three-party or D-Howard unleashed.... could get ugly. Expect the Lakers to try and mess with Orlando's head with some dirty play.

Magic should win in 5, but possibly one game to Lakers due to Phil Jackson whining about the refs, so lakers may strech it to six.

It will be satisfying to see the Lakers, who will no doubt be the media favorites yet again, lose to another so-called 'underdog.'

Real finals were played 2 weeks ago - game seven Celts and Magic.

Best three teams in the league: Boston, Orlando, Cleveland.... next eight are out west.

Any Celtics fan who votes for anything other than the first option (or *maybe* #2) should be banned!

That's what I've said. I think they've missed the playoffs five times in their history. That's ridiculous. Every other team that I can think of has gone through more bad years, so it's time Laker fans go through some lousy years as well.

Return to Boston Celtics
