Sorry if this is an obvious answer but does trading Jae & one of Smart/Bradley for Hayward in a S & T allow us to have enough cap room to then keep Olynyk? Being able to keep Olynyk & one of Smart/Bradley would help our depth you'd think. And we are very thin with our bigs at present if Olynyk leaves.
This is hardly even fair, the rest of the league is playing checkers and Danny Ainge is playing 12-dimensional chess.

Take it FWIW, but I have a source who's been spot on about quite a few transactions with the Clippers. He said a Lou William for Avery Bradley offer was on the table and Boston was considering it, but not sure how serious it was. As of last night, I was told it was "on the verge". Don't know if any other pieces are involved, but maybe Clips remove protection on 2019 1st? Anyways, that's all I know at the moment.

Recently Danny has been as good with 2nd rounders as he is with late firsts. Will we even have a roster spot for those picks?

Why would he give any stuff when he could receive from other team?

Orlando r under the cap they do give a future 1st for crowder.
Then Boston can sign haywood

1) we will probably need to let him walk next year anyway, should try to get at least a future pick for him.
2) we need Crowder to play the 4 if we don't get any other good bigs.

Yep. I originally voted to move Crowder because of our small forward depth, but these two arguments are hard to refute. Some are worried about Jae's "sensitivity," but I think he's more tough-minded than he's getting credit for and will adapt to what the team needs from him.

Not likely to be a credible piece of info. It doesn't clear enough salary, and is a big downgrade in overall value over the long term.

AB/DJax -> L. Williams clears even less salary than moving Rozier/DJax for future picks.

Source might have been good for info at times, but this has too many holes in it.

will be interesting to see. My guess is Sac fans tell you WCS was a stud after the Boogie trade and is untouchable :).

given the FA moves they have made so far I could kind of see it. I do think Cs may need to add Clippers or Memphis pick to grease the wheels.

Can’t see them parting with Hernangomez for one year of Smart. I would do it though, considering the circumstances.

A good friend of mine, die-hard Kings fan, brought it up to me.

I would happily part with that highly protected LAC pick to get it done

What's your point? It was reply to CLIPPERS fan...both Beverley and Lou Williams are with CLIPPERS now. I really, really don't understand your reply to my post...

Can't move Smart, he is still developing. We more or less know what we have in AB and Jae, won't know on Marcus until yr 5/6.
For me, injury issues and Jae's ability to play the 4 makes AB the odd man out.
