It might still drag on, because the Lakers no longer have a need to appease LeBron and the Spurs don't have to trade Leonard right now, but in the end, the Lakers will almost certainly trade an Ingram/Kuzma package for Kawhi.

It's been brought up. Howard is no longer a good defender. Especially with how game is played today. He was not even the best big defender on the Hornets last year. Force the switch on a guard/wing and he gets blown by. He drops back and stretch bigs will pop and shoot 3s. He'd be useless against the Dubs. The 12-15 mpg he'd play is not worth the potential chemistry and locker room issues he could cause. We're set on our bigs rotation imo.

I have to think eventually the Lakers get desperate enough. Can this Lakers team make it past the second round in the west as constructed? lol

I also have to wonder if Lebron behind the scenes is trying to dump Lonzo and his father. But I doubt Pop wants the Ball family.

Feels bizarre as hell to me. Lebron, Lakers. All of this.
