But he said immediately after, that he changed his password - inferring unauthorized access from someone who knew his password.

Good assessment:

Speaking of bad hires...idiocy to hire Kidd, Luka might be gone from there very soon.

Also btw I want Stotts as associate HC if he doesn't get a HC job, he's a very creative offensive coach just a meh HC

Why does everyone think Kidd is a bad coach? Because he was a clown and intentionally spilled water on the court that one time?

I understand he is a wifebeater, but strictly his coaching ability seems fine and tons of players respect and want to play for him seemingly.

That’s fair. I called total bull. But that makes sense. Family , coworker who knew his device passcode could have posted that without his knowledge.

With the amount of black lash he is taking for the denial I believe it more.

Well he fits my entire criteria

What if he isn't able to get them to be less selfish? That's not part of your criteria? While I wanted the Jays to be involved in picking a coach, there is a concern that he won't get on the players, especially the three listed, any more than Brad did.

It's not because the likelihood of me knowing that is about as much as coin flip for one first coach or the other.

Except for ones that have failed, like Jason Kidd.

That said I suspect if we don't select Tatum's first choice then he's closer to pulling a Paul George and demanding a trade after just signing a max extension. And in that case Tatum playing less selfish now as he's developing won't matter when he's winning rings for the Lakers.

Yep, not fake. Saw it in real time. He made a reactionary post forgetting, or ignoring a fairly long lineage of beloved black coaches in team history from Russell to Jones to Doc.. AKA from 3/5 major eras of the Celtics.

He just chose a cop out excuse after he got called out, which is almost worse to me than him not acknowledging the above three.

Has there been an official announcement of this appointment yet? A scheduled press conference?
Hope there are no last minute hitches or problems as I like this appointment...

He may have said that and done that to imply that he had been hacked and mislead people into thinking he had said he was hacked when he didn't technically say that at all.

You guys are really upset about some guy who was so stupid that he threw away his entire career to ride a motorcycle.

Yea, it's a joke on my part. Passcode, what is this the 50s and is this his passcode to the local "post".

Enough with this Jay Williams nonsense...when is our new coach introduced? His signing hasn´t even been made official.

Come on, Brad. Don´t take so long in doing this, we need to talk trades already ;)

Celtics Trade Kemba, for Horford and others.
Celtics Hire Udoka, as next Head Coach.

And the Finals ain't even started yet!!!

Ainge wouldve probably waited for deadline day(because playing golf is more important) and eventually ending empty handed on the Kemba deals. He probably wouldve waited for so long that all the other NBA teams could have plenty of time for signing the top coaching candidates and finally him ending up with Stan van Gundy. The Ainge apologists would tell everyone how good a move this is and that Ainge once again was smarter than his competition in the coaching carousel market.

The main thing that Brad has learned under Ainge is.. Don't be like Ainge.

Could be a family member. SMH. My 11-yeR OLD kid knows my passcode because kids are really smarter than all of is. LOL. Luckily he doesn't know about the secret vault of his mom's pictures. LOL.

Would love this. Would be smart to give Udoka and experienced coach to aid his transition, plus he's a more defense-focused coach, so an offensive mind as lead assistant would be ideal.

I actually thought the spilling water thing was genius, he's just a mediocre coach at best. He has a career .491 winning percentage coaching a loaded Brooklyn team and Milwaukee teams with Giannis (not in his prime yet, but still) with a strong team around him that never finished better than 42-40. His teams always underachieved and unlike Kidd as a player had poor fundamentals and played dumb and sloppy. I don't think it's out of the question he could succeed in Dallas and Udoka could fail here, but I'd MUCH rather have Ime than someone who's already failed twice, no matter how great a player he was.

Steve Clifford would be a great lead assistant if he doesn't get a job (which doesn't seem likely).
