Nevertheless I'm expecting them to be a lot more physical on Sunday so get ready for sluggish offense

Going to get the full Draymond Green on Sunday. Barking, Physical, Techs, Illegal picks etc.

Totally agree. He'll try to throw off our game, our momentum. Got to match their intensity. Come out strong, keep it close and win down the stretch.

I still think they will bet on White/Horfie not making as many shots, but I also believe both Tatum and Brown should be plenty successful on offense in this series, win-lose or draw.
To me, MIL and MIA's defenses seemed a lot more physical. Klay/Steph/Poole cannot play physical
Dray's good.
Wiggins is decent, but not a defensive stopper.

Yep after the physical play of the Bucks and Heat, the Cs must be relieved. The Dubs strength is their ball movement and pace of play, and it'll be even greater on Sunday yet the Cs have an incredible opportunity to go up 2-0.

GS best offensive players aren't their best defensive players so they always have to pick & choose how much offense they need to sacrifice to adequately defend.

This is pretty much the issue with 96.7% of the league.

Name another team that can field a playoff rotation full of players that have size and can play both ends without much of a hitch? Cs are uniquely built and we fans should be grateful Brad and co. had this vision and chose this direction.

EDIT: A healthy Clippers team might be the closest thing to what we have.

Exactly. It often gets talked about that we can defend 1-5 with all first 7 rotation players, but it rarely gets talked about that 5 of those players are excellent passers (Smart, White, JT, Al, Rob), Grant serviceable and JB improving.

Additionally 4 of those are good 3pt shooters and 2 serviceable. 5 are good drivers that can either kick or finish in the paint (JB, JT, White, Smart, Al) with Grant much improved and Rob good at finishing in the paint.

When you consider that PP and Theis also have various strengths depending on matchup it’s an incredibly balanced rotation with no discernible major exploitable weakness (other than mental/focus).

It’s for these reasons that I think it’s extremely difficult for opposition coaches to make adjustments that work for very long because we have the pieces that are proficient and flexible in all major areas to respond on the fly.

One big game from JT and JT will be back in the driver seat for FMVP.

This is not Milwaukee or Miami, this game is very, very winnable if you're the Celtics.

Just don't play dumb!

The Celtics are gonna score their 100 to 110. They have to prevent the Warriors from doing so.

I expect the Warriors to come out blazing. They can't go down 2 to 0.

A lot of people consider game 2 as a freeroll if you are the visiting team and won game 1. NOT ME! If we win game 2, that’s the series. They have a monumental opportunity to pretty much end it here. Don’t squander it. Take their hearts now.

Yeah, you have to think GP2 will play tomorrow to spot Poole, but as others have said, he'll be a major liability for them on offense which I don't think is worth sacrificing for better defense. What makes it worse is he fractured his elbow, so his already bad shot will be even worse now. Celtics will probably leave him alone out there, though I know he's pretty good at back cuts so he'll probably punish the Cs there. But I think the C's will live with that.

Moody or Kuminga might see more minutes too, but again the Celtics will live with that. If those rookies somehow manage to cause major headaches, then kudos to them.

This. Playing GP2 plays into the Celtics strength. Yes he’s a pest defensively, but their offense will suffer greatly with him on. It will allow Rob to roam and play the free safety even more than he is now.

Also, who is he playing with? If he’s playing with Green, Iggy or Looney, that’s 2 non shooters on the floor for the Warriors again.

We wore them down last game (Curry, Looney looked gassed) I expect the same again. If we can keep it tight for the first 3 quarters, I can’t see them beating us.

Celtics have won 14 straight, 17-2 overall, when Tatum records 7+ assists.

When he makes reads/plays the way he did in game 1 PLUS makes his threes/layups, look the **** out!

I'm sorry, but Tatum is kinda corny. He's a good kid and a superstar, but this is kinda corny.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.
