What? No, an NBA player should know--especially at the end of the game--how much time is left. It's not luxury. It's common sense.

Yeah, JB should know how much time is left.

But why are we really surprised when last season Smart and Brown were Dumb and Dumber.

JB has improved this season, but he's still far from being a finished product.

Kinda stinks but oh well. Never foul a three point shooter. KP been great all year but bozo play, happens but hopefully not next time lol.

Don't get your panties in a bunch Jaylenfans but despite the strong game, this final play was squarely on Jaylen Brown, not Joe. As I see it he has four options, one simple, two risky, and one awful. He had Derrick White open one pass away. Horford a skip pass away. He could've split the double team and drove middle. Then finally he could've dribbled into the corner that's already occupied so he can add one more defender to his coverage and take a fadeaway jumper going to his right. Whatever play Mazzulla draws up is going to end up with a similar setup and it'll have been up to Jaylen to make the right decision. As it was, the play we ran (dribble ISO) created an advantage that we easily could've taken advantage of. We just didn't.

That's a routine shot for Kobe.

It's coming straight out of a basketball version of the NYT caption contest.

It's all hindsight from here... Not sure who Jrue was supposed to be guarding in the inbounds. Why not just block the pass to Mathurin? Easy pass to the corner is the one you prevent. Let them get the ball above the break and heave from there. Even if McConnell gets the pass back, there's no harm.

Turner could've slipped that screen btw.

Jaylen ball watching. Probably wanted to get a heroic steal. The game could've ended with a dunk.

What a freakin selfish dude. Since JT is out, he wants to be the man. **** glory first before winning. White is open asking for the ball, and Porzingis pointing at white. This kind of selfish plays disrupts chemistry in the locker room.

Yeah, if only JB is a smart player, he would have realized that there were 3 defenders around him and that 2 Celtic players were open.

This is not on Joe, this is on JB wanting to be the hero.

Yet I thought it was a tied game, with 3.6 seconds left with Brown headed to the free throw line.

Looks like a HIGH chance of a win to me!

Chill dude. That's a tough pass to make (with 3 defenders on you..and not a clean angle to make the pass or for him to see White with the defenders all over him like that..what JB saw in real time is NOT the aerial view we see in the photo), and you have to make it perfectly with only 5 seconds left on the clock - very little margin for error.

And how can you blame JB, when he clearly got fouled on the shot? The refs just blew the call.

JB had 40 points in this game. Without him, we lose by double digits and the play at the end doesn't matter.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

This season we've seen JT automatically pass the ball when doubled.

That's something JB still needs to learn.

You don't lose the game at the end. You lose it because you let go of the rope defensively in the 3rd quarter.

I see Holiday ball watching too. You'll say anything to try and prove your narrative.
