Its literally madness to say that we have to drain our prospects and will willingly comply while also saying that you wouldnt be ok with it if dagis walks.

To ignore that possibility is career suicide. Like letting durant leave for nothing KNOWN for years he was out.

And yet you're so aggressively happy to give the pels whatever they want instead of negotiating.

Of course they will negotiate.

In the end we trade Tatum to get a top 5 player in this league at age 25.

This is not Cousins, George, Butler or even Kyrie. We’re talking an entirely different tier of player here. A once in a lifetime opportunity.

AD and Greek Freak are gonnna be running this league in about 2 years. The time to pounce is right now

And Davis wants to go to the lakers and Danny wont trade him without an extension.

And since he wont. Danny wont and it's all settled. It's pretty simple. Danny isnt giving everything away and hope he can sign him.

That isn't true. The whole trading for a guy only if he agrees to an extension is a non starter it pisses away the advantage of trading for the guy in the first place because of the extend and trade rules in the new cba. You lose the ability to give him more years and more money than anyone else. Because of the trade kicker this isn't a total impossibility as Davis salary will likely rise to his max salary but there is just no advantage in it for him unless decides he wants to go to Boston and nowhere else and that clearly isn't the situation we are in now.
