Re: Draft Thread
Figured a stash. Begarin sounds like a good choice.

Juhann Begarin is our guy. only 18 yrs old. playing in france pro league. stash him in france for 2 more yrs, he'll come back over here ready to dominate and be a monster. our future lineup begarin at the 2, brown at the 3, tatum at the 4 could be unstoppable a few yrs from now

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

I think they wanted to draft someone who won't be on the books when they have to sign a free agent next year. I had never heard of him before tonight.

From the film I've seen, Begarin is high upside. He's from Guadeloupe. Athletic but raw.

#5 on my board. Cannot believe how stupid GMs are for letting him fall. Thought the Spurs might take him in the lottery. Would have loved him at 16. I know we’re mocking people saying that but Hal and I have receipts. Not sure he even needs to be stashed tbh

Yabu, Poirier, Fournier, Begarin... Kind of a trend going on, no?

Re: Draft Thread
This kid is all upside, talent for sure.. I wanted high ceiling, he has it.. but hate to wait.. Why the hell do we need to stash him. he is better than at least 3 players on our roster right now.
Keep him stateside.

Re: Draft Thread
Brad has no interest in adding young players to this team this season. This dude may never play for the Celtics but he seems like a fun upside player. Better than a small PG.

I’d have taken Bassey, but didn’t have any expectations and am glad they didn’t take Cooper.
I am also glad that the play they picked doesn’t seem to be undersized.
Maybe following on the “success” of Yam Madar, “draft and stash” will be our franchise’s new version of “draft undersized!”?
