Memphis got MUCH better. Great drafters and now loaded with one of the most talented young rosters in the NBA. Can't believe we not only traded them the pick so they got Bane but then they take Woodard a few picks later? Ouch

He's not. At all.

Richardson is probably the better player, but Curry is a much, much better fit.

Hayward, Desmond Bane for Winslow, $21M TPE, future 2nd

Ainge finally gets his guy lol.

They like every draft pick and move/non-move that Ainge makes. I am 40 and not getting any younger. I would love to see this team win a few more before I bite the dust. Right now, with all of the teams in both conferences making significant moves, the championship just keeps getting further and further away.

Point them out to me. The bolded. Names of posters who defend everything Ainge does and are happy not winning.

But hey, if you are happy with a second round exit for years to come, good for you!

Conversations go downhill quick when you get to tell the other person what they think, instead of asking them.

If you just hop into any game thread during the regular season. They're the ones saying people aren't fans because they're not happy when we're down 20 or we dare to mention one of our players who are playing like ****.

They claim you can't be a fan unless you have no thought in your head but cheerleader songs. They're easy to find and there are many.
Yup. This is exactly why I've distanced myself from this board. This is a board for die hards/fanatics, and non-likeminded fans are considered toxic. As for SMTBSI's question for posters such as this, how about posters like Homerclease? He is a textbook example of the behavior you describe.

That dude has what seems to be a genuinely personal hatred of me and loathes my existence because of some Boston Celtics takes. Made things personal to the point where I had to report him and contact moderators over his childish behavior. It's pathetic.

He IS TJ McConnell, just a slight worse passer and shoots it more often.

In other words, we lit a pick on fire, because Wanamaker is a no-doubt better player.

He plays nothing like TJ lol. McConnell couldn't shoot at all whereas Pritchard is one of the best shooters in the draft and was PAC-12 POY.

Just admit you haven't watched him it's fine. No need to pretend.

Stop bringing this BS up. McConnell shot 38% for his career in college on decent volume, the same as...Payton Pritchard.

McConnell is also a vastly better defender and a pure point. Pritchard has better scoring chops and can get to the tin better.

In most years though 2 seconds > end of the draft first round.

Simply due to financial commitments required for rookie scale.

That is still probably a win and helps with our roster crunch today.

But yeah nothing to jerk off about sadly.

It's a simple trutg. The Boston Celtics are NOT a Championship organization who makes Championship Calibur decisions as of right now.

Well the draft is kind of a disaster value wise. Nesmith is fine, shooters with size seem like a good idea. Doesn't seem to have much upside tho.

Then Bolmaro got picked a few spots in front of them, an because there were no other real stash candidates they had to settle for swapping a first for a few seconds.

An finally a small 23 year old guard. I really hope this guy proves me wrong, but those types of guys very rarely amount to much.

At least they got guys who can shoot.

I would have drafted a stash over two future seconds. First move of the year I've disliked. But I don't know other details behind the scenes

I'm speaking moreso towards Brown.

Tatum is fringe top 10 at best, with top 5 seeming pretty inevitable. That's all good. That's your guy. But he needs a guy who is capable of being the best player on a playoff team because that's what today's NBA climate of superteams require.

That's a hell of a chance to take. I'd prefer proven talent, every single time.

Richardson is probably the better player, but Curry is a much, much better fit.

One player has a PER of 12

and the other a PER of 15.6

Both of their calling cards is shooting except Richardson only got hot from 3 for one season and Curry is pure from 3.

It's really not close. That's outdated information.

Curry shots 45% from 3 on 5 attempts and that's game breaking on the court. Richardson shoots below average from 3 at 34% and does nothign all that well just like his 3 point shooting.

What a waste. Random future seconds Ainge will likely trade away as well.
