We just got three picks for Grant, I’ll take it. I thought he was gone anyway.

It cracks me up people worrying about the roster. Brad Stevens and the Celtics are far from finished reshaping the 2023/2024 roster

All that's left to do is give Jaylen his extension.

Celts are done after that.

Moves or a move can still be made later in the year or on or before the trade deadline in 2024.

Cs basically have a 9-man rotation now.

Correct me if I'm wrong BEFORE ANY DEALS, people were saying we likely were not keeping Grant. I mean, I can't remember fully, but wasn't there a lot of talk ALL SEASON that we were probably going to either let Grant walk and/or S&T for little to nothing? Sure, he made less than early season talk, but even before season's end people knew Grant wasn't getting big money and thought we'd let him walk for nothing.

Why are people down on what we got in return? I'm only bummed because I like I'ma Make Em Bof!

First, Brad traded Smart, Muscala, Gallo and a 2nd round pick, and ended up with Porzingis, Walsh, GS's 1st round pick next year, and a few seconds. Then he got Porzingis to sign a two-year extension for 17 million less than what he could have got. Then we got 2 2nd round picks, a 2nd round pick swap, and a TPE for a player that we were going to lose for nothing. In the majority of cases in the past, a team had to PAY 2nd round picks to just get a TPE. Brad not only didn't pay, but he also got rewarded for sticking to his guns AND kept us out of the 2nd apron...for now anyway. I do not see any major deals or trades coming our way, but Brogdon's name is still out there being talked about, so 2nd round picks are always helpful in greasing the wheels of those kind of trades. What this team needs is bench depth. TPE's and 2nd round picks are how they are acquired. Brad has been pulling rabbits out of his hat all offseason. Yet, we still have posters wanting to complain, and would trade 1/2 the team to get their binkie. That is their right, and I will support their right for their opinion, but I just don't see how any of this is bad.
