I don't care about the other teams. So it's different. Expectations for the team I root for are super high, often unreasonable. That's just how it's gonna be until we actually win something.

Edwards would never have a poor performance on his home floor in the playoffs and allow his team to be blown out, especially when he’s playing against the 13th best defense with single coverage.

JT could learn a lot from him.

Agreed, but a number of posters were saying Ant would never allow it. Every single star has up and down games and periods.

He’s on track to be very special. Even when you’re at the very top, you don’t dominate every single game. Despite what MJ would have people believe, even he had down games, even in the playoffs.

I really think people need to reset their expectations of what a star player and great team is…JT is wonderful, we should appreciate him more. Sure it doesn’t make him immune from criticism or fans wanting him to be better, but the balance has gotten way out of whack IMO.

Lol. Nah! Edwards is still better than JT. I’ll change my mind if i finally see JT play like a superstar. Not like a role player chucking contested 3’s, getting locked down single coverage.

Right now we don't need JT to be better than Ant.

What we need now is a JT who can help the Cs win a chip.

It's like Magic vs. Bird in the 80s.

Bird was better early in their careers.

But after 1987, Magic started winning MVPs and added 2 more chips after beating Bird and the Cs in 87.

JT will be at his peak starting at the age of 28.

His body has yet to fully develop.

So it's not who's better at the start, it's who ends up becoming better in the end.
