If you don't have a blue check on Twitter, I'm not buying anything you type regarding Durant.

If that's true there is no point in watching the NBA for the next several years.

Cannot blame him I guess as he will end up with 5 rings

Are the Celtics still talking to Kevin Durant ? I hope. They can't let him go to the Warriors. The NBA will become unwatchable and not fun.

Here comes that sinking feeling.....

Going back to OKC would be a major disappointment and let down....

.....but going to freakin GS would be a kick in the nuts, immediately followed by disembowelment once the pain subsides.

KD man, OKC or Boston....please don't go to GS and make me despise you....

I don't want to get my hopes up and I'm trying to not be a negative Nancy but it's hard.

Like seriously. Right now our team is about avg and adding Durant literally begs the question of who's the last piece we add to rival Cleveland. That's how good he is

I'd love to spend tonight kissing ass. Apologizing. Jumping on the bandwagon and talking about what is left this summer to do to make us contender worthy.

Make. It. Happen. Ainge.

Why do do people keep saying that? Of course it can happen. I mean who wouldn't want to be a main player on a team that will win 5 rings.

The reason MN isn't getting meeting is since they don't have IT/Bradley/Smart(players I like) and they don't have cap room and tons of picks going forward. And MN does make Boston seem warm....

The Celtics could not tank hard enough to land Towns & Wiggins while retaining guys like IT and Bradley....and Crowder. More likely (by far) they would have ended with guys like Embiid/Parker & Russell/Okafur. That is the point. They were not out tanking teams like Philly and Minny those years without dismissing almost all there talent. It's OK....Ainge knows what he is doing.

Ainge gets the big picture that having KD is an obvious no brainer and having draft picks is very important but Ainge is the same gm that wanted to overpay for Kevin Love and sign Rondo to an extension. At times Ainge has been luckier than good.

IT and Crowder weren't even on the Celtics in 2013-14. They had zero to do with tanking for Wiggins. Realistically, if my plan was followed the C's wouldn't have had Crowder last year -- maybe added him as a FA, however after last season since I clearly would have wanted to improve the team for this season -- but for sure they would have had IT. I readily endorsed that trade right away.

IT was traded for half way through last season for a late first rounder. The guy had a minor injury at the time AFAIR. IT could have been sat.

Just saying your worst players playing is an easy way to tank. Play Fab Melo a ton in 2013-14 with the other moves I was advocating and Boston not Milwaukee is the worse team in the league and they can do that while keeping Avery bradley who I liked.

Notice how I didn't advocate tanking this year at all. It was the year of KD. And frankly for the record, I only expected a partial tank last year after Ainge screwed up by not doing a full tank the first year. Why a partial tank last year? I realized Ainge had screwed up by not trading Rondo/Green earlier and the best way to maximize both of their trade values was to have a team that won some games before dealing them away.

I gave Ainge credit for salvaging both the Rondo/Green trades but I think even Ainge himself if he was being honest and had a do over would have tanked like hell in 2013 and trade Rondo/Green back then.
