I'd say the noob squad has exceeded expectations so far.

Ojeleye is already an NBA bench player by virtue of that grown man defense he's played on LeBron and Giannis. If Semi can merely be a net neutral on offense instead of a net negative, he's gonna have a long Mbah a Moute kinda career.

Theis looks like he'll stick around the league as a +/- kinda player off the bench, not statistically that productive so far, but he can stay in front of little guys, contests a lot of shots, and works his butt off. Cautiously optimistic based on what we've seen.

Larkin won us a game with some hot shooting. Bird helped the 2017 Boston Celtics which is an upset in itself.

Most of these guys are long shots individually. It's encouraging that they can compete at this level.

We need to lock Semi into one of those Daryl Morey cheap-for-the-rest-of-your-life 2nd rounder deals.

He reportedly signed a 4-year deal, so I believe they did.

Just had a look and you are right, 4 year deal with 2 years guaranteed. Perfect!

Maybe he needs to tune his body a might?....Like Marcus Smart did over the winter...

He seems a step slow to me....a sleeker body frame would make a difference when he's driving to the basket...

I think his extra brawn is hurting his natural abilities...Much like his predecessors in the role that he plays, Sully and Big Baby Davis...Losing a few pounds might help him allot?

Coach clearly trusts him. His shot will fall eventually as he gets more comfortable with his role.

Plot twist: Sully, who's already in China, still ate all the donuts. He scored 41 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in his debut btw.

Mickey was the same, got on the court for 15minutes and still managed to stink it up. Not down on these Draymond Green wannabes at all

4pts, 3reb (all off rebound) in 6min ... not bad, he's getting into it step by step

Poor Nader the only one on the negative side of the ledger after 8 games...

His game really isn't suited to being a 4th/5th option on offense and he doesn't make up for it on the other end of the floor.

I still think he can have a role on the team, particularly if we lose Tatum or Jaylen for any stretch. He's just got to develop a useful NBA game as opposed to a good G-League game.

With Morris come back imminent, it may be time to transfer Nader and Yabs to Portland

They can shuttle back and forth depending on the schedule. We might need them as cleanup crew in games like the one vs. the Kings. I expect us to have more blowouts this season than last after having seen what our bench can do. There also aren't too many rest days leading to the London game. Brad might want to give the vets a breather in B2Bs.
