France hasnt played football throughout this tourney, yet they are in the Finals. Guess they’re right. Belgium didnt really play good either but ugh France played ugly ten men behind starting to win time every moment they had the chance to. Maybe thats being smart?

France were quite organized. Give them credit. Pogba catches a lot of flak for underperforming, but today he was a force. Varane was imperious, possibly the best game by any centre back in the tournament.

Not so sure. They'll probably be missing Kompany in the next WC. And he's supposed to be the unquestioned leader on that team.

Yeah Kompany was also supposed to be injured so I guess it's alright. He said before that he was gonna quit though so I don't know.. Our defense can certainly use a few new names but not really one coming.

Anyway, we were the second best this tournament.
Will be more difficult in 2 or 4 years.

England already got lucky with that weak playoff branch but they still looked very shaky. Their young talent really isn't all that promising. They are in severe need of a playmaker like Hazard, Modrič, Marcelo/Neymar, Messi type. Their offense is very stagnant, no wonder they mostly score from set plays. This tournament was fools gold for them imo.
