I think you are missing the point

We got this with our roster no fantasy squads required

Yup. Plus Wyc already said they're willing to pay the luxury tax for a championship team.

Easy. Irving, Brown, Tatum, Hayward, Horford.

I think people may be missing a couple lines in that graphic.

But, I'll have a go anyway. 8 players. Have to actually hold up over a seven game series.

Wall / Dragic
Brown
Middleton / Covington
Tatum
Drummond / Turner

4 - Wall
2 - Tatum
2 - Middleton
2 - Drummond
2 - Dragic
1 - Brown
1 - Turner
1 - Covington

Swap Wall for Kyrie if you're willing to go 7 deep.

Wow.

Draft a local kid with ties to organization who fills a huge need and immediately trade him for a far worse player.

And trade for chandler.

Yeah he isn't very good, but they specifically made this thread so they could defend Jayson Tatum. If they would have come back with virtually the same wings as last year, Tatum and Brown would have absolutely roasted them again (actually, even worse).

If nothing else, Chandler will be used as their primary defender on Tatum.

Boston
Indiana
Philadelphia
Toronto
Milwaukee

All clearly better than the Wizards, in my opinion.

Also, Wall and Beal do NOT like each other, so I'm sure that contributes to their constant losing.

I wouldn't say clearly better..same tier at least. Their bench and Wall's injuries have been the biggest reasons for their lack of success IMO. They have made improvements to the bench, Rivers will give Wall a lot more rest than he has been able to get in recent years and like him or not, Howard is a much better player than Gortat who looked completely cooked all year. If the pieces fit together or not is something we won't find out until the games are played. But they did the best they could IMO.

When you say "same tier," you don't mean the same tier as the Celtics, correct?

Oh God no. lol..

Same tier as Indy, Waukee and the Raptors who haven't made a **** move all off season. Slightly below Philly, way below a healthy Boston team.

He couldn't hit ****, Thon shouldn't and can't fight at all- it was funny tho  . the philipinos beat them down. Aussies were running. :o
Good assessment:

The Phillipines were outnumbering us like 5 to 1. What would you do when punches are being thrown from every angle ??

It's okay, don't get mad, they stepped up for their teammate. It is what it is.

My Very Early East Seeding:
1 BOS
2 TOR
3 IND
4 PHI (if no Kawhi)
5 MIL

Detroit is an interesting team. They aren't what you would call "good," but (and this is assuming they make the playoffs) they are going to be a pain in the ass for whomever draws them in the first round because of their frontline.

Lol there is now such rampant discussion to eliminate conferences for playoff seeding just because LeBron went West. It is absolutely disgusting how much we try to placate LeBron. Sure; let's change the entire landscape of basketball just for him.

I'd go for the regular season:

BOS
TOR (same team that won 59 games last year I just think we'll be special with our youth to get over 60)
Philly (just seems like the good version that went 16-0 into the playoffs. But their stars are young, maybe it costs them)

drop in tier
IND ( I might regret this, lost the Tyerek signing... they could be in the next tier)
WAS (still have a very young core that's not going anywhere)
MIL (greek freak and no improvemetn around him)

drop in tier
Hmm idk. Pistons sure, Heat I guess. Luckiely that's eight because the rest of the Esast sucks major balls.
