He knows Kyrie is gone. He knows no AD deal happens without Tatum.
Not much Danny can do here. Time to focus on retooling the rest of the roster.

Finally?
Love the man. But he was in denial all year about things. First mistake was not trading Terry last year. Team imploded before he ever had a chance to finish it.

I have no problem with Kyrie signing with his hometown team. No problem him leaving our team. no issue him doing all this even though free agency doesn't start for 2 weeks and both him and the nets know he's signing there.
I do have an issue with him making some comercial about wanting his number in the rafters and telling the entire arena he's coming back at the start of the season.

He's made a clown of himself. It's his right as a human to do it, but I lost a lot of respect I implicitly had for him this past season.

Sucks that Kyrie is leaving but at least we aren’t the Knicks. They lost Zion, Irving and probably KD!
Can’t wait for them to waste their cap space on Tobias Harris and DeMarcus Cousins.

I’m just glad that I didn’t force myself to watch his movie and have a reason to continue avoiding it.

Him leaving has zero effect on me because he was gone months ago and I knew it. Gonna be awful tough for a lot of people here though. He’s a cancer and we are better off without him. Fact.

Kyrie needs to look into the mirror and ask himself why Kyle Lowry is a winning player and he isn't.

I've seen it. Back when kyrie was still firmly in the celtics' fold, or so we thought, so if anything I was biased to like it more than it deserved not less
And with that said, it might actually be the worst movie I've ever seen. It's terrible.

Well Lowry did have a better RPM than Kyrie and actually contributes on both sides of the ball. Unlike Kyrie, if he is not scoring, Lowry can still impact things on the defensive side. Not a one trick pony.

He's very weird as a person, doesn't seem to have a winner's mentality and I bet to him leadership is a town in China. That Bucks and even Pacers series proved a lot to me when it comes to Irving. Dude was shook, couldn't adjust, showed the poorest possible leadership, low b-ball IQ. With that being said if it's him and Davis, let's go.
Good assessment:

Well in fairness Lowry as the best player would end very poorly and Kyrie has performed big time in the Finals, but yeah Lowry big time baller out on both ends. Kyrie not so much..
