You and I agree alot

But Kobe and Mike together would have been a 75 win team.

Maybe and also maybe Jordan punches out Kobe who doesn't swing him the ball lol

Last time Celts won a championship after 1986 was in 2008.

So the trend is it takes the Celts more or less 20 years to win a championship.

You're going to need patience if you're a Celtic fan today.

2029 is not that far.

It’s sound logic.

Wins and losses don't lie. If you want to believe they do, be my guest.

Ainge squandered the chance for the Celtics to win another title in our lifetimes when he passed on Giannis in 2013.

LOL. They got bounced in the first round of the playoffs the following year.

Probably?

But if there was one player on the planet Kobe would willingly take a back seat to it was Jordan, his big brother.

Boston - Gets Tatum's bff and fix their biggest problem; shooting (I would prefer to have Bryant instead of Bertans but taking his contract would make this deal more appealing for the Wizards)

Washington - Hits reset, as they get rid of a ton of future $ and bring in three good young players with potential

Atlanta - Gets Jaylen who will create a solid and young Big-3 (and possibly big 4 if Hunter can stay healthy). They should be Top contenders in the East for years to come, probably even better than Boston and that's my biggest reason to hesitate on this deal

Celtic owners too cheap to take on a contract like John Wall's.

So, something like:

Smart
Beal
G Williams (Bogi?)
Tatum
R Williams

Pritchard
Richardson/Romeo
Bogdanovic
Bertans/Hernangomez
Freedom

Shooting is definitely improved, but this leaves the C's quite thin up front. Can you squeeze Evan Mobley into this trade somehow?

Hawks are paying the freight for Boston getting Beal. No interest in trading Okongwu and definitely not interested in getting Shroeder back.

What's Smarts price at these days?

Would love him as the 3rd guard in Utah. Would something around either Clarkson or Ingles + minor value work or am I too far off?
I bought a boat.

Bertans contract sucks but he would be a perfect big for this team. Fit matters with players.

If you ask half the board here its multiple 1st rounders. In reality probably a late first or a couple of key rotation players.

Smart still has more value here than he can return in a trade. I only see him getting dealt if something lucky materializes, if he’s part of a larger trade, or if we end up with a new point guard from a separate move (unlikely) and can move him for roster balance/fit.

Smart is more impactful than both those Utah guys, and younger

John Hollinger idea: Schroeder into DAL TPE, Juancho matched for Trey Burke and Ntilikina- takes us under the luxury tax

We lose the best player, but.. the tax matters. And they'll probably just cut Frank, but I love him and he's under contract next year at the minimum. Still inconsistent, but has had some decent nights in limited minutes for the Mavs.

I dislike the way that Schroder has been playing for the Celtics, but I hope he does well going forward because otherwise we are stuck until the end of the year.

Not a single poster should have changed their mind on trading Brown after his 50 point explosion. the same reasons you may have wanted him gone or Not should be the same.

the One difference is, his stock went up a bit with this game.
