He's an underwhelming #1 pick so far.

Flagg was supposed to be a generational talent.

#1 picks like Zion and Banchero averaged 20 ppg during their rookie season.

He is just above his high floor currently. Though he is very very young . Even younger than Tatum.

Yeah, I don't doubt Flagg's talent, it's more his charisma that's not making Mavs fans forget about Luka.

Bulls now back to Earth.

After a 5-0 start, Bulls are now just 6-5.

Bulls could be a trade partner for the Cs.

Ya but Flagg is still 18 until December, so he's STILLL younger than forever 19 Tatum.

I was reading up on the top draft prospects for 2026, and its crazy to see that Cooper Flagg is only ONE MONTH older than Dybantsa or Peterson. December 2006 birthday vs January 2007 for those two. He's literally as young as its possible to be and still be in the NBA.

Alot of expiring contracts on that team. Vucevic, Zach Collins, Kevin Huerter. Any one of those could save the C's a chunk of money in a Simons trade. The question is how interested would Chicago be, they have a redundant sort of player in Colby White.

Yeah, Chicago would be the ideal trade partner.

The thing about Coby White is he's reported to be asking 30m per year or the same thing as what Giddey got.
I doubt the Bulls would spend that much on both Giddey and White.

So my proposal of Vuc and Coby for Simons and Hauser could entice Chicago.

I don't think the Bulls will re-sign Vuc, so I think the price won't be high on Vuc.

As for Coby, if the Bulls have no plans on giving him 25m per year then Sam Hauser would be a nice addition to their young core.

The Cavs are really overrated.

Mitchell had 17 free throws tonight and they still lost. Admittedly Garland is a big out for them but I cannot take them seriously

That's why I keep saying Simons is too small.
Having 2 small guards in today's NBA just doesn't work anymore.

Cavs are fake contenders.

Seriously, how can a team that won 64 wins end up losing to the #4 seed Pacers last season?

This is also why I keep saying don't give up on the season just yet.
The east is wide open.
There are no dominant teams in the east.

If Brad can get a big man for Simons and Tatum returns in March, it will be a different outlook for the Cs.
