I think they take a step back and win in the mid 40s. They lost valuable depth and were very healthy last season, which Id bet doesnt continue.

People aren't talking about how big the losses of Ilyasova and Belinelli were for them. Yes, Embiid is their best player by far, but their entire offense was predicated on floor spacing last year. Redick is a FA, too, so they might end up losing three of their best shooters.

Kuzma and Ingram are overrated players. Above average players. For rental Terry Rozier and two first is a good offer. His Kawhi unwillingness to re-sign here is why the celtics are not willing to offer jaylen brown. It kind of makes sense. Kawhi is worth jaylen brown, but for one year maybe not.

I don't see any possible way that happens. But rationality has never gotten in my way before when it comes to sports.

Thinking about now it doesn't make any sense to offer jaylen brown for only one year for kawhi. You can, and are allowed to change your mind at anytime.

Kuz and Ingram are easily worth more than those first and Rozier. Watched quite a few Lakers games end of the season, they had a really bad start and would have been in the mix for the playoffs had they not had such a rough start. Ingram can ball.

The Lakers have the market boxed in if they hold 2019 cap room. Zero chance we offer Jaylen or the Kings pick if that stays.

But... Spurs will make them bleed for it. First by waiting until the rest of the big FAs sign. Then, by completely excluding them from a Kawhi trade unless they outbid the field by 100%.

If I am Pop, I’d rather take complete dog **** from Boston than anything from the Lakers that’s less than Ingram and Kuzma.

No doubt, but bet they have to offer Ingram and Kuzma just to beat Rozier and a couple of non-Kings picks. Otherwise, they will definitely take a lesser offer than LA’s IMO.
