I feel like Ainge is going to trade Hayward and a pick for Westbrook.

I could talk myself into Kemba thriving off screens and Westbrook turning into a guard Draymond Green with a smaller scoring load, but I really fear we do this.

With Kawhi and Lebron now playing in the West, and with the Kemba trade, I guess Danny will try to make a big trade and give a chance to this team to be a contender this season.

I would not be surprised if a Westbrook trade happens.

Hope im wrong, but Ainge and Morey think incredibly similarly and rumors are that Morey wants Westbrook.

Ainge should be fired if he even considers doing so.

A couple years ago when Smitty had the rumor after we lost out on KD would have been the time. He has negative value now with that contract. Hayward for Westbrook is gross.

Smart/Brown/Tatum/Yabu/Rob Williams for Westbrook.. nightmare:

Kemba/Wanamaker/Edwards
Westbrook/Langford
Hayward/Ojeleye
Grant Williams/Theis
Kanter/Poirier

I am not so sure they think that alike. I just can't fathom Morey not tanking harder in 2013-14 but it seems like Ainge isn't the type to go all in on a 3 ball offense like Houston with D'Antoni either.

Morey has a bad long term contract in the aging Chris Paul so if he deals for Westbrook which I doubt, it may be more about just getting rid of Chris Paul. Morey has to know that Harden with Westbrook didn't win it all even with young KD/Ibaka.

Kemba Walker could easily turn into a bad contract quickly if he gets hurt but he isn't now and Hayward for all of his critics really isn't either when you look at his stats after the all-star break this past season. I actually think Hayward is going to opt out after this year or at least be in the position to do so while getting lots of money again.

Nah.

Westbrick and Kemba wouldn't work together. No way Ainge trades for him.

No way Danny does it.

But if he thinks that Hayward is not coming back at 100%....just like the IT/Kyrie trade you know ?

In 2011, he tried to get an aging Pau Gasol in the blocked CP3 deal so I’m not sure I agree with you

Understand the fear but there’s no chance. Forgetting the fact that Hayward is Stevens guy and ainge won’t do that to him you also have to think we are 2 years from having haywards deal off the books and taking on 4 more years of Westbrook’s massive deal at 31 years old is horrible and just unlike ainge.

He also plays the same position as kemba and while I know brad is all about positionless ball and he could run a 2 pg lineup at times- you’d have to think kemba and Schwartz would be pissed at Danny for acquiring someone who plays the same position as walker and is ball dominant.

I wouldn’t worry about that at all.

Anyone who proposes or even thinks ainge would trade Tatum for a 31 yr old Westbrook is insane.

Morey is Dannyaingego Unchained. Same basic philosophy with less restraint.
