SO the solution is just don't do anything, everyone go around coughing on everyone because who gives a ****, we're all going to die anyway. Thankfully my ancestors didn't have this viewpoint or I wouldn't be here.

Wow. Taking time off grad school to comment, just wow. Spring Break starts Monday and the school decided to go online for 3 weeks after that, maybe indefinitely.

The earth has more than enough sustenance for the world's population several times over. If you have a gripe with that then convert to socialism.

Dude **** isn’t hilarious. I’m praying they let my mom come home from Italy tomorrow. People are going to die.

Your Mom is in Italy?
I hope that things work out for her, and your Family.

Unfortunately, thanks! Few minutes early thought the travel ban was for everyone. Sounds like she should be fine to head home tomorrow morning barring any changes and if she passes the screening.

Get a fukking clue. Humanity is not built that way. You ilk really need to give up this whole hands holding across world nonsense. That's not how humans are built. We are combative, we are jealous, we are passionate, were are tribal and, were are INDIVIDUALIST.

The point is I don't want to hold anyone's hand right now. What combat, jealousy or passion have to do with being aware, preparing and reducing the effects of a virus is beyond me, but my ilk must be missing out.

Although it is suspended not cancelled. I doubt the entire season will be cancelled. They may pick it up in a few weeks.

With the NBA over for now, I would like to nominate Brad Wanamaker for Sixth Man of the Year and Most Improved Player. Tatum makes All-NBA 1st team obviously. And we're retiring SEXPANTS banner just like LOSCY.

The world's economy produces more than enough food to feed 1.5x the entire world's population. "overpopulation" is one of the less impactful factors in something like climate change in comparison to industrial production.

If we're really serious about environmental or humanitarian issues, the first thing we should scale back is capitalism and rampant consumerism. That's my point.

It's a myth that the world doesn't have the necessary resources to support a population of 7 billion.

I wonder what happens if they resume the season in like 2-3 months and people who were thought to be out for the season come back. Could be interesting if Kyrie/Durant are back and healthy for the playoffs, going against the Bucks. Of course, if it gets delayed that long, they may just cancel it and start anew with the new league year.

She should be able to make it out tomorrow, US citizens who pass the screening are fine. Let us know how it goes. We're all thinking of her.
