First time in years (maybe ever?) that I took the eyes off of the screen during a C's playoff game. I must've only watched 40-45% of it, on and off. So uninspiring.

JB is gonna make third team all-NBA and it's gonna create a really interesting situation.

How? The celtics will offer it and he'll take it or he won't.

If we flame out in this series as seems inevitable, do we really want to pay JB the supermax?

Not that he's the only problem but I think the pressure will be intense to make changes if the C's blow this.

What is the alternative..you aren't getting equal value for JB in a trade or free agency. His age makes it a no brainer even if you are not super high on him.

This Cs team is built like GSW, a small ball team.

Because of the rule changes since Adam Silver took over, the NBA is back to being a league dominated by big men.

So I don't know if the Cs can win a chip without a quality big man.

Right now, all the Cs can do is shoot 3s and hope JT and JB can make tough shots.

I think doubling Embiid is a bad move at this point. Worst case scenario is when their whole team is eating along with embiid which makes the Sixers hard to guard. Just like that regular season game we lost to the Sixers when embiid dropped 50, the Sixers barely won at home without JB playing and Tatum playing like garbage. If embiid beats you so be it, but don’t let maxey, harden, Harris cook you or else it’s gonna be easy work.

This was my hope all along. Single coverage of Embiid and lock down the other guys.

They can't lock up the other guys one on one. They havent locked up anybody.

I want to apologize to everyone, I will learn the rules better by the next game for certain. I said what I said because it was literally nothing but Tatum name-calling and IMO going overboard on him. I was about to leave the thread because there was nothing else being said, but then I remembered I'm supposed to be modding. This is the playoffs, I want to discuss what's going on and not have to go through PAGES of what was being thrown around. I gotta just let it slide even if it says game thread but turns into a name-calling trade thread. It's no longer entertainment it's draining. Add that to what the team is doing and I stepped out of line. I meant no harm, just wanted people to stick to criticism instead of what was actually going down. My fault, yall don't deserve that (most of you)!

But I really wonder if they just don't want to do the work sometimes.

Why is this team so ass at home. Home is where you play with energy and the intensity goes up. Look at the way Denver is playing. The way the Celtics played today was an abomination. Game felt over 8 minutes into the game. Poor body language
