I'm not as confident with the 5 now. It was clear what Heat was doing in the 1st Q. And we let it happen for 3 more Qs.

I thought if the Heat were going to win a game in this series it would be game 2 and it would send us to a 2 day meltdown so I’ll stick with my original prediction and hope its correct lol

I asked in the game thread if there was anybody picking the Cs to lose Game 2 and nobody said yes.

I wasn’t on here pre-game but told my friend at work “I think it will be a sweep but if the Heat are gonna win a game it will be tonight and there will be all kinds of takes”.

Still, my original thought was they would win but I’m coping

I mean some were but we really should just be running them off the 3 point line.

We have more than enough defensive personnel to make the proper rotations etc.

The aim against this Miami team should just be to run them off the line every possession. They have no other way to beat us.

Instead we allowed them to run us off the line tonight and we got smoked.

Cs strategy was same as it was in the regular season. Allow ATB threes. Protect the paint. Weakly contest certain players and tightly contest others.

Don't know why they're afraid of letting Martin and Jovic and Highsmith put the ball on the floor and make plays.

Joe comes from Brad's coaching tree and they share the principle of doing same thing they believe in over and over but next time, do it better.

There is no way for Miami to beat us in a game in this series if it doesn’t involve them hitting a ton of 3s.

We just kept daring them, they hit them and then by that point it was far too hard to get stops and we made their offence look as hard to stop as the Denver Nuggets.

I’m not certain Joe is as bad as people claim. He isn’t great, but probably not as bad.

But at the same time, with a payroll like this, you can’t, can’t, can’t trot out an average to below average coach in this scenario. You need someone who has been there. Someone who can light that fire every night and I just don’t think Joe is that guy. Maybe I’m wrong, but the team keeps spending more and more and more and the mentality of the team seems to be the same. There was zero urgency in the 4th quarter of game one when the mentality should have been to step on their throats. Udoka probably was the guy, sadly. But I guess we can only speculate.

Honestly this teams lack of defence at times over the last two years in the playoffs has been mind boggling.

We did the same thing last year where we played lazy d and made all 3 teams we played look like juggernauts.

We did it again tonight.
