I thought they would come out tonight and clobber the hornets. I was wrong. This team has not played good basketball if their record looks good through 5 games.

The time for that was in the 2nd quarter not the 4th.

Should have given him a chance to get out there and try to slow their momentum in the 2nd and then 3rd assuming it was successful. This game/match-up feels like the perfect spot for him. Hornets were never going to run us out the gym and he has the tools to limit their already anemic offense.

At this stage just let Tatum come back in and attack/kick. We'll win off FT's and/or open 3's. Make the Hornets picks their poison.

Just don't settle for contested please. For the love of god JT/JB, go to the rack.

Yup. Those are the matchups where he can be effective. The quick, shifty guards who we sometimes have problems with. Guys like Lamelo, Haliburton, Brunson, SGA, Steph, Harden, Maxey, Trae, Ja, Fox.

Those types of guys you can throw Springer on them for a few mins, to slow them down, give them a different look , wreak some havoc and bring us a spark..
