Over under on Indy surpassing Toronto as the potentially 3rd best team in the east after their offseason?

A lot of that depends on what sort of development we see from Sabonis and Turner I guess, right? They're going to have an unbelievably deep front court this year. Going to be an interesting team to watch out for.

That said, I think the Raptors are getting a bit underrated based on a bad playoff series. They're probably still going to be really good, especially in the regular season, until Masai starts selling vets to get younger or Lowry begins to show his age. Obviously they aren't in a position to contend for a championship, but I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to grab high seeds and advance a round or two in the playoffs for the next couple years.
I think first round bounce to vacation.

It's okay, don't get mad, they stepped up for their teammate. It is what it is.

This has obviously been covered a fair bit here in Australia. Who knows what the hell Maker was doing flying around with those terrible attempts and kung fu kicks? And obviously one of the Australian players (Daniel Kickert) escalated the situation significantly when he knocked down the guy who committed the hard foul on the Australian player. One of the Philippines players tried to trip him over during the warm up so he was already a little heated. And one of the Philippines coaches was caught on camera in a timeout telling his players to knock the Australians over, so there had be a heap of dirty off ball stuff happening prior to the brawl that had made things start to simmer.

But a dozen players attacking one or two opposition players along with team and stadium officials and FANS is not really stepping up for your team mates. Stomping on a defenseless player on the ground and using chairs to attack players? It certainly "is what it is".

And the Australian coaches were initially doing the right thing trying to keep the Australian players on the bench at the other end of the court from getting involved. So this led to single Australian players having multiple people trying to attack them, so of course you are going to be backing up and trying to get away.

The Aussy players ran like little girls.

This is why before we ever enter "GOAT" discussions with Lebron he has to agree to play a season or two under 20th century rules. Where you have to through the defenses of 1980s era New York, Detroit, and Boston. The rules where if you flop you just get laughed at. And then stomped.
labron is a joke he should never ever be considered for best 20 players ever.

And the Filipino team played like girls. Maybe try not to get blown out by 30 points next time. I'm not sure why you seem to be so proud of these guys. It was a humiliating display.

I honestly think he could help the 76ers. Or at least theoretically he could help.

It was painfully obvious in the playoffs Simmons and Embiid won't do it as your goto scorer, they need a goto wing player to close out games for them badly. At least someone other than Embiid they can look to at the end of games.

Melo still has that in him, had his worst year last year efficiency wise but on a team like Philly where he won't have to fight for the ball he should do well.

Why would the Thunder trade for inferior players? :P

What if we add the SAC 19 and MEM 19 picks? Are we close?

Almost. You are getting a premium player, after all. Can I interest you in his summer workout videos?

Are we talking hoodie Melo here? If so we might need to innsert Rozier and and extra pick swap. But I hear GS is offering their starting 5 for him so we might have to add a few extra picks to beat that package.

On a serious note, it's sad how Carmelo has become a complete joke around the NBA. Dude was one of the most talented offensive players I've seen come into this league..never really had any major injuries but washed away because he never stopped being an arrogant me first chucker. The Dwight Howard of small forwards..to add insult to injury, in the worst moment of his career, dude had his wife get her tig ol' bitties played with on TV..sad, sad, sad.

Lol. If melo was for only 3 million and would come off the bench and be the scorer instead of morris I would consider it

But cannot see that happening.
