Him stat padding got us closer to the win, by passing the ball team Brissett for 1 of his 10 assists (team ball) for the easy layup..
If you watch the game you see JB hunting for the triple dub before that. Instead of the White/KP 2-man game that was working beautifully, they started freezing the ball and letting JB dump straight in to KP.
Credit to KP for the nice footwork post moves for giving JB default assists for basic entry passes.
Serious question. If it’s so easy to force KP the ball why didn’t JB do that in the Denver game? Why not feed the better player more often? Why does JB HAVE to be involved in the action?
Playing against playoff teams, I’d much rather we practice good habits of letting White be the decision maker. Yeah it’s cute against Houston but let’s be real. What are we playing for here?
Clearly JB is always playing to prove something. Clearly not playing to win like KP and White.
