He's doing what we've been begging him to do for years. Wish he made more of his own shots, but we won't be in this position if Tatum hasn't taken the rest of his game to the next level. He's doing it all and in turn, makes it easy for everyone to play their roles.

Impressive maturity from the Jays. They were infuriating in the 20-21 season even Mike Gorman called them out.

His biggest, most important leap was from last season to this season imo.

Thinking back to him as a rookie and in summer league I just can’t fathom he’s here now.

I thought maybe Shawn marion type or j rich was like ceiling type ****.

Even that was a far way away, but he’s an apex 3 level scoring two way clutch mother ****.

And handsome.

We are 1 win away from a chip and we have Baby Kawhi (Springer) and Baby Iggy (Walsh) on deck for next season.

Mavs were really on the verge of blowing the Celtics out when it was 12-25 in the 1st qtr.

JT was not efficient, but his 20 points in the 1st half matched Kyrie's output to keep the score close at halftime.

JB then went off in the 2nd half.

White also made big 3s in the 4th qtr.

This was really so close as it was a 2-point game with 1:20 remaining, after that Lively dunk.

But I think all the misery we endured in the past is finally being rewarded as the Celtics are once again able to win another clutch game in the postseason.

Spoiler:
Captain_Caveman wrote:Time to take out the trash. Let's clear up a few things here.

#1, you don't even get to speak to me about anything after all the L's I have hung on you the last couple of years. I have left a mark on quite a few posters in my time here, but Jaylen's complete collapse vs the Heat last year (and struggles vs the Ws the year before) were about as bad as I've gotten anyone. It was a basketball lesson I never wanted to give, but you insisted and you got it. You know it. I know it. You know I know it. It's why you only post to or about me. I'm sure it stings, but just man up and take the L already. I own you like a dog. Are we clear on that? Because I sure am lol.

#2, brooooo, we aren't playing anyone right now. This might be the weakest path to the Finals anyone has ever had. I'm here for it, but victory laps over beating these injured slob teams? Ooooof. Have some pride. With the same path in the East, this team would have had half a dozen Finals trips in the last 8 years or so. You all know that. And we almost lost Game 1 to these slobs! First semi-real game we've had all year and we played like complete **** in the 4th before the refs and the Pacers literally handed us the game. Jaylen may have saved our season with that shot, ffs.

#3, on Jaylen, I am super impressed with his demeanor right now. Still the same floor game with all its strengths and weaknesses, but he's made a leap mentally IMO. Dude is playing pissed, and I love it. Not sure exactly how many times this team was supposed to choke in the playoffs before the light finally went on for our star players, but Jaylen gets it now. He's super focused and the constant defensive lapses appears to be gone. This is promising in what is likely our last shot to get over the hump with this team. If we don't title, we become the Buffalo Bills. The Webber Kings. No one should be confused about that, and I'm very happy that Jaylen isn't.

#4, Mazzulla? Come on, man. Just trying to survive this guy. Call it whatever you want to, but he is a deer in the headlights in tight games.

Because I don't feel like typing it again, please refer to my last post to you.

As to tonight, woooof. I just want to know who is driving the getaway car. That would have been a crushing loss.

If they handed out trophies after 3 wins, Jaylen would definitely get Finals MVP. He had a very strong second half and was not the reason we almost blew that game in horrifying fashion. The way he is playing now is the exact response a player should have to getting humiliated by Caleb **** Martin in the playoffs the season before. Love to see it.

It is nevertheless worth mentioning that a big part of his success is Dallas doubling Tatum up top while allowing Jaylen to go iso on an injured Luka all game. I'm sure Tatum wishes it were the other way around. Dallas just does not have the personnel for us and have picked their poison on that.

Mazzulla? I'm just glad we are the better team because we played the last 11 minutes of that game like we learned basketball from watching youtube videos. Super disturbing. Hat tip to Luka for fouling out.

Oh, I get it. It's a parody account! Nobody's ego is really that big.

Yeah, I can only remember Scottie J and I having the Celtics sweeping the Mavs.

The poll had Celtics in 5 as the majority.

So far, the Pacers have given the Celtics more cardio than these Mavs had.

I had them in 5 but finish in 4, please Cs.

I kept saying it, Mavs can never generate the smoke that the Pacers threw at the Celtics.

3 games into the series and Kyrie and Luka combined for 62 points in this game and the Mavs still can't score a 100 points on the Celtics.

Mavs losing that Game 2 is really the killer.

Cs shoot 25% from 3 and the Mavs couldn't capitalize.

It was very unlikely the Cs would again shoot poorly from 3 in Game 3.

Still need to win one more game.

I hope the Cs get it done in Game 4.

Maybe Brad's most underrated move of the off season, Cass is very highly regarded league wide.
Really hope we can hang onto him next season.

Met him during the off-season class **** act. Him and Charles lee actually.

Told him how excited I am to have him here with us and how big a fan I am. We chatted for a bit about the team and his t wolves days.

He's just an all around solid dude. Joe was definitely missing bench coaches last year huge upgrade this year.

As great as Luka is, his bad defense might or could be the reason he will not get a chip.

He's just bad in staying in front of his man.

That foul on JB for his 6th foul was really a foul.

Guy just doesn't have the lateral quickness.
