I'd take that all day long.

The problem is fit. he isn't a really good fit here because our core is already IT-Bradley-Smart-Crowder...not even factoring in Rozier/Hunter/Young . Danny has work to do.

The problem I have with Hield is his ceiling. I have no clue what it is. He may be primarily a guy that you have to get shots not a guy you give the ball and say make it happen and he can. That's the difference between good players and very good players. Butler is already a proven commodity on both ends.

right, but you also have to be careful because you don't want to trade a Klay Thompson as part of a package for Kevin Love either. There's a fine line.

You don't really seem to like Butler. Why?

I missed the game but we really needed to drop that game against them. Should have rested everyone and let the kids play. We need the rest regardless.

That win and the two Brooklyn losses are making me sad.

i just get concerned that people overrate him a bit...Personally, I think he has peaked. like we have seen the best of Jimmy Buckets... That's not a bad thing as I still believe he has 4-5 really productive years ahead, and probably a 2-3 more all-star appearances..but he isn't a superstar. he's a very solid #2 or #3 on a title team. So I'm all for trading for him if it means Durant/Horford will follow....But if we're trading for Jimmy Butler and only signing a guy like Horford and run out a team of IT-Butler-Crowder-Olynyk-Horford then we're not a contender

Disagree, we're a contender. Were upgrading two starting positions with all star caliber two way players in your scenario. Now how much we have left on the bench determines if we're legitimately right there with GSW and SAT.

No Lopez, Young, RHJ, looks like they tossed this one away so they have some fresh guys against the Knicks tomorrow.

Nice night so far. Houston with a decent showing puts them up a half game on Dallas if they hold on.

I have been battling with the persistent thought that I would actually prefer Brooklyn to win tonight because I just don't like the Cavs at all. I found myself actually rooting for Brooklyn to make shots and get rebounds. I will try this again for the rest of the season.

Bulls will make it as 8th, probably 7th seed...here TOR again could be eliminated in 1st round, would love that :D

This 4th quarter meltdown could easily cost them the playoffs.

Houston and Chicago both seem like good candidates to me to hit the treadmill hard.

And I rarely use that term.
