I can't see the Celts going through all that for just the MLE, i would love for Bulpett to be wrong for once.

He is not wrong obviously, so ****. Having the MLE is valuable though, need some quality frontcourt depth.

In fairness, the emotional rollercoaster for RealGM Celtics fans aside, "all that" wasn't really that much. Sounds like we gave up a pick or something but otherwise it's not that different from just signing Kemba through free agency.

I mean even Bulpett even referred to it as "cap gymnastics", they did it with more than just the MLE in mind, IMO.

Well, the Rockets were shopping Capela to make room for Butler. If Butler is going to the Heat, then Capela may no longer be available. Also, I believe they were looking for high picks, and the Bucks' pick wouldn't have cut it I assume.

I love Al, but I just don't see the disappointment of some if he doesn't come back at the money he can make. Sure, I'd love him to come back and I don't care about the money as it's not mine. That being said, it's not the end of the world and I feel the Cs will manage.
