Are you 10 years old?

I wish. Starting over Twenty Five Years ago would be lovely.

Children are pretty much immune to this, though they apparently can be silent carriers.

Makes no sense to me that children would be immune with under developed immune systems as is. I don't want to test this theory too much though, but it does seem they can be carriers like you said but not get real symptoms?

I gotta enough of my own griefs to worry about. I'd go mad if I had to worry about the entire worlds problems. You can all call me horrible, but that's frankly how most people think.

The point is that its not about you caring about other people. You can have your own cares, make no difference to me as long as I never have to interact with you in person. But what does any of that have to do with preparing for an epidemic?

I hope that things work out for her, and your Family.

Unfortunately, thanks! Few minutes early thought the travel ban was for everyone. Sounds like she should be fine to head home tomorrow morning barring any changes and if she passes the screening.

She should be able to make it out tomorrow, US citizens who pass the screening are fine. Let us know how it goes. We're all thinking of her.

Thanks all means a lot, I’ll let you guys know!

Tatum started getting sick when we got home from the west coast trip. :(

:( Just have to pray for the best at this point. Heard Tom Hanks and his wife got the virus too which sucks already enough since he’s one of my favorite actor of all time. What an unreal day

Even though I make jokes about it, the basketball game aspect seems irrelevant. I said it before last nights game was over in the game thread.

Have to keep people safe.

With that being said, the Celtics obviously aren't ready this year anyway. Who is cursing out loud right now is Lebron James.

An epidemic? It's basically a bad flu unless you are on your last legs or already have immune problems. If we all licked and spit on everyone we saw it'd kill like 5% of the people in the world and 98% of this would be 75+ old timers on their last legs. That's NOT an epidemic.

A disease that kills 5% of the world wouldn't be an epidemic to you? Please stop posting...

Good luck out there. In fact, which timezone do you live in? I want to avoid it at all costs.

You’re right. It’s not an epidemic. It’s a pandemic. Man, and I was dumb enough to think that suspending an entire professional sports league season would be enough to convince people that this is serious. How silly of me to have faith in humanity.

Looks like they're suspending the G-League too.
Makes sense.

You're adding nothing of value to this thread. Take a twelve hour break, and quit with these kind of posts when you get back. This is clearly a serious as hell situation, and it being a pandemic is a fact.

There's a lot of different info out there and I have two young kids myself but I have read that because their lungs haven't been going through years of pollution (general pollution, second hand smoke, etc etc etc) they aren't as vulnerable.

I work in Facilities so i've been bombarded and I had to tell my parents who are both over 70+ to be extremely cautious and practice extra hygiene and just stay away as best you can.

People saying "Oh it's only old people who are dying" while are mostly correct they clearly don't care their parents.
