I think this is a fair criticism of Ainge. His inability to gauge players’ willingness to stay has caused us many opportunities.

Myles Turner would look great here...just saying...

Ainge got greedy and it cost "Gun Shy Danny"

We need a coaching change and Danny is too prideful to do so.

He refuses to hire an assistant with lots of NBA experience. I hope Brad goes to Duke once Coach K retires and brings this staff with him.

Brad is going to end up back in college, just a matter of when, not if.

Stevens is year 2 of 6 in his contract. Could be a few years before he leaves this team

I blame danny mostly. Roster is awful and years and years of wasted picks caught up to this team.

He will be back coaching in college before that contract is up.

Oh I am sure but I say it won't be for at least another 2 years.

Brad used to be the one that got his teams to overachieve. But once Kyrie arrived it was clear that he had some pretty damn big holes. He is incapable of getting players to buy into their roles and his lineups leave a lot to be desired this year. If I had to choose between Ainge and Brad, I'd say I'd have to give the boot to Brad. I don't think he will ever get the full respect of players nor do I think he is capable of handling egos and recognizing locker room issues before they've gotten out of hand.

He deserves to be in the league, just not for a team trying to win a championship.

It’s his dream job, and it’s not that far off from happening.

Years and years of wasted picks has caught up with Danny.

Good news is the future for the Beijing ducks and big 3 look bright with all the players the Celtics are farming for them.

Really wish this Ainge thing wasn't pro vs. anti- Danny. It's not blaphemy to suggest after 17 years you get a fresh pair of eyes on things. I can't even figure what he still wants with the job anymore. And what the hell with Stevens. Apparently Kyrie and Mookie Morris took his heart and his desire for basketball or something.

It's not really time for that. 26 games into a season after the Celtics have been pretty successful. But its trending the wrong way. To me it's more talent than anything. But it will be a lot easier to say once the season is over what should happen next

Thats exactly how I am with Ainge. He was a HoF GM with us, but we cant waste a year of the Jays like this. Something needs to change, and a fresh GM wouldnt be the worst thing— look at how quickly Morey changed things.

Stevens might have the coaching version of yips since the Kyrie debacle. 2016-2018 Brad was prime Brad, lol.

To be fair, though, he hasn't had a lot to work with since players keep...leaving.

Anyway, I love what Ainge has done for us, but if this season ends up being a .500 season, I'm alright with some big changes to be honest. I always thought Zarren might be next up, but reading that article about how tough he is in negotiations...we all may be happy that we have such smart dudes running the team that can assess value, but I'm on the fence about that style actually being effective.

Ever since Tatum got Covid, this team has fallen apart.

Here’s the thing, there’s no real path. You can’t get anything for the rest of this roster. I know some people think I hate Jaylen, but mostly I think this team is stuck, and trading him is one of the few ways to get some talent.

It’s not that I want to trade him, or settle for a **** package. I just don’t know what they’re supposed to do, other than hope for a minor miracle lol.

Trade him for what?

For Towns.

Why would you choose coaching kids over coaching in the best league in the world?
I don't understand.

I understand the allure of coaching college, kids are more willing to soak up your teaching, the atmosphere is awesome, and recruiting is cool.
