Tea leaves time - Jays, Marcus are pretty much gonna be here.
Everyone else that he didn't bother necessarily even naming even when specifically asked may be available...

I mean, he basically names everyone of note.

This shakeup and new head coach officially signals the end of our failed rebuild and for that I am grateful. It was honestly a great plan it just didn't happen. Excited to see a new coach, a different style of play and pretty comfortable saying that Brad will be an upgrade to what Danny has been doing the last few years.

Yeah, he said "former first round picks" a few times and listed them once. But nothing more than that. Really, I'm just...

Forget everything else for now, the real mission is finding a nickname! GO!

Edit: Ime is already short and sweet, that may have to work.

Failed in the sense of winning a title? Because Boston went from a 20 win team post Doc, to 3 ECF appearances in 4 years. Hard to consider that a “failed rebuild”. I thought both Danny and Brad did a great job building this program back up using those Nets picks. Just couldn’t get them over the hump.. and some tough luck with our big free agency signings.

Those conference finals appearances in a weak conference weren't as a legit contending team. Yes, that should be considered a failure.

It´s actually that shaky voice which tells you he´s got the emotion inside and will yell his message when needed. Plus, it was his introductory presser, with his new bosses and speaking to journalists. Give him a break ;) PLus, he seems the kind of person who is more comfortable talking to players than bosses, which is perfectly fine for me.

I'm sick of listening to Brad, just as I got tired of Doc before him. Hearing Ime this morning I thought, this voice will probably wear well on us, but like Brad he seems to lack the humor of Ainge. Or of Bird or McHale, for that matter: the tepid comments of the Logo have been the only vague flashes of wit we've seen from C's players in recent decades.

Still remember Marcus referring to Ainge as “his charming ass”.. Rare quality in the NBA

Come on.
There's 30 teams. You make it to the Final Four, you're good.

Eh. Every season has it's own story. The Suns are about to make the Finals playing 3 teams with each of their stars being out to injury. Will that rebuild be considered less than?

I wonder what Udoka's Contract is, with the Celtics.

I think I read five years, with the fifth being a team option. No idea about $$$$ though.

EDIT: Don't pay attention to me, I can't find it anywhere, please disregard the above.

You realize the 3 ecf in 4 years shtick has been a bad meme for a while now right? just checking because this exact fanbase and forum murdered Raptor fans for doing that same thing for like a decade. And yes, failure. I dont recall anyone here talking about how over the moon they'd be for a few ecf flameouts as the pinnacle of this long, laborious rebuild back in 2013 so no need to kick the goalposts around post haste just because it didn't work out.

Danny was undeniably bad at his job when it mattered this time around, and thats ultimately why he isn't still doing it. His 2018-19 campaign was one of the worst GM'ed seasons I've ever seen in sports and the followup to those years was limp. Lot of big assets got away for nothing. It is what it is, psyched we're moving into a new chapter where maybe some Celtic fans will be a little less proud of finishing in 3rd, 4th, 5th place and while we're at it, the style of play has sucked for years with Brad at the helm so hopefully that changes too.
