the only thing that remotely concerns me about the Hawks is that they’re very deep so might run us out of the gym one time. It really shouldn’t go over 5 games.

Hawks have talent and if focused can be dangerous.

However I’m so sick of foul line flopping Miami and Spo finding a way to make things messy against Boston that I’m relieved to be facing Hawks.

We do have a tendency to play down to our opposition so I just hope the playoff switch heightens our focus. The series should be 5 games max if gone to form.

Now I also want to see Heat Vs Bucks for them to tire out Milwaukee.

This is why you play the games.

It would be hilarious if the Heat crashed out of the playoffs entirely. Hoping the Bulls/Raptors kick them out lol

The last time the Celtics played the Hawks in the playoffs, it was Horford's last year in Atlanta and Cs had IT. We lost in the first round, 2-4.

REVENGE TOUR!!

Was that the 60 win team that got swept by the cavs and wasted everyone's time by having too many all stars?

2015 was the 60-win team. Player of the month: Their entire starting five lol.

But they got swept in 2016 by the Cavs, yes.

I’d much rather the Raptors playing the Bucks first round. The size difference between Milwaukee & Miami would be just flat out unfair lol

Raptors??? Really. That’s an easy sweep for the bucks. Giannis doesn’t even need to play 30mins for that. At least the heat can make it interesting. They have beaten them in a series.

I haven’t googled to verify but the last time I remember the Celtics playing the Hawks in the first round it was 2008 - the year we won the title….

Man, I want to fleece ATL for Trae. Trae would be perfect on this team. Preferably if we can have both Js still. Trae playmaking and a third option- 20 and 10

Hawks got heaps of offensive rebounds, need to keep Capela off the glass. We aren't great at that, hopefully TimeLord is up for the playoffs.

It was 3 years ago now (and giannis missed 1 of the games to injury) but the heat beat the bucks 4 games to 1 in the 2020 semi finals..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

That series was supposed to be a bit of a cakewalk, but it was a lot of blood, sweat and tears.

Lol, hopefully people adapt over time, but a 7-8 matchup in a single elimination game should never have that big of a disparity in predictions.
