My attitude towards Melo is that Sully was worth two picks so not expecting much out of him.

I think he can become a DeAndre Jordan level player though (although slightly less athletic but a better defender) - decent shotblocker but limited offensively.

DeAndre Jordan light with a defensive twist wouldn't be too bad from the 22nd pick.

Been impressive that Olynyk can put the ball on the floor.

As long as he is not allergic to contact, and his college stats indicate he is not, he is going to be able to put up points at a rather efficient rate. His touch around the rim is phenomenal. He's have his share of shots blocked due to his lack of lift, but, he has quite a bag of tricks already.

Nice job by KO with the hi-lo to Fab. Gonna be all day with him and Sully during the season.

EDIT: twice now and Fab showing the hook.

Yeah the good thing about Olynyk is that his outside shooting is going to be an asset no matter what. You question which of his inside moves will pan out (although I think most of them will be money) but a big who can shoot is going to be able to shoot no matter what. He should really open the floor for Rondo. I also like that despite being a young te4am next year we should actually be pretty high IQ.

The problem is him being able to guard quick PFs, I don't see it, I'll be more comfortable with him at Center if I'm Boston, also, there are less scoring quality Centers than PFs, it's easier.
He can change his body, he show progress in 1 year, imagine with NBA, Marc Gasol was a fatty boy when he was young, Olynyk can gain strength and do a good job in defense inside, he has quick feet.

Hes never going to be a presence, but I think he will be better as a Center, and actually that spot is his only chance to be a starter in this league.

Anyway even if he's only a 3rd string big, that's a bargain in this terrible Draft.

Yeah, I'm sorry, Bargnani comparisons WAY OFF. Olynyk, while he may have rebounding and defensive shortcomings, he is an absolute beast offensively. Shooting, picks, movement, spacing, and court vision.

On the other end though. Not much effort by KO getting back into the play defensively. Half-hearted effort there after being picked. That will not stand.
