isn't this how he always looks, though? He's always the chillest of chill cats.

He does, but in conference play he seemed to step up at these times whenever it got close down the stretch. He took that one three transition 3 but missed & now he's not shooting.

And we can give Fox some credit for that...he's got composure too

Fox movin up, Ball moving down.

You overestimate how much stock people put into one single game. How far did Wiggins and Parker drop after their bad tournament performances?

It's not like Ball is having a bad game. It's more like he is getting exposed for being slow, especially against someone lightening quick as Fox.

Ball is not Magic. He isn't Jason Kidd either. He will be good, but I don't think he has star potential. His shot and defense are questionable.

That too. He's either gassed or he pulled something in the final 3 minutes. He's moving so awkwardly on defense.

Ball gets matched up against fox and gets owned.

Jackson gets matched up against Bridges and puts on a clinic.

The choice is really quite clear.

I'm gonna try not to overreact to one game but watching Ball in this game does remind me how far he has to go defensively and this game just echoes what I've already seen from him. Earlier this week I said I vaulted Ball back to 2nd and I still have him there but knowing what I know about Brad Stevens and how he loves guys that compete at the defensive end, how Brad gears his draft workouts to finding out where a player's "quitting point" is, I wonder how Ball will fair in such a workout.

You don't want to put too much emphasis on tourney results; I know Danny won't. But I get what you're saying.

Poorly. Smart would snuff him out for at least the first 40 weeks

Ball won't fair too well. I heard Jaylen did and I'd bet my bottom dollar that Fultz or Jackaon do.

Of course not but those matchups are the best players they are gonna see at the college level. Fox and Bridges are legit top 10 picks in their own right and a good barometer as to where guys like Ball and Jackson stand. It's only a small piece of the puzzle but I've had Jackson ahead of Ball long before tonight
