Smart gets slight air wiffed by face, go instant Kobe mode on offense.

Getting by on a reputation as a good defender so far.
Baylor is Brat.

Wish Horford would battle for rebounds like a much smaller guy like Tatum
Handsome.

Ainge is going to end up trading Morris plus other players for a younger player (20-25 years old) that can grow with this team.

Good offensive half but extremely poor on defense. Some of Booker's shots are crazy tough and not much you can do about those, but that second quarter defense was abysmal

Between that and his dribble you really have to wonder if he's capping his potential on offense.
Maybe he will always be a complementary 4th or 5th piece on a championship team.
Basically a 6'8 version of Avery Bradley just trading Bradley's great finishing with Brown's great ability to get by his man on a drive.

You mean why did he bench Tatum I assume?
Good question.
Only gonna get worse once Morris' minutes restriction is lifted.

It’s not Horford. It’s his pairing with Morris who doesn’t try to rebound at all.

He's a second-year player shooting 45% from the field and 40% from three. Let's give the kid another year or two, see what happens.

WHY DON'T WE HAVE A 15-PT LEAD OR SOMETHING?!
I'm extra cranky watching a Cs game at 3am apparently. I applaud all of you Euro fans.

Re: Suns (8-15) @ Celtics (19-4) – 1:00 PM, Sat, Dec. 2, 2017
The rebounding is big. When Baynes is in, we rebound. When Morris is at the 4, we're not rebounding enough to end possessions. Were just simply better defensively all-around when Baynes plays. Morris gives us a more talented group offensively, but whether it's due to missing training camp or practice or just in general that he doesn't "own his space" like Baynes does, the net effect is inarguable.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Great finishing? Bradley got blocked by the rim on a breakaway layup. He’s a terrible finisher and terrible passer too. Brown is only 21 years old

No it's Horford too.
They've both had long careers of their teams wishing they put more effort on the boards and they never do.
Coming into the season only Baynes had a record of average rebounding.
Well Horford got Baynes on a start, and a pogo stick as a defense assignment that his pinky has more muscles then... still doesn't rebound for ****.
It is what it is, just one of his glaring weaknesses.
At least we don't have to watch Kelly 0 out there this year, that's our saving grace. Hopefully Theis, Baynes, Brown and Tatum can help out on the boards and get us the advantage back.

To compare Jaylen and Avery...is...yikes. Jaylen is already a close enough defender and much better offensively.
