Better teams win a 7 game series. No one should be surprised at how this is turning with how the regular season went.

People didn't think much of it but those losses against the magic, thunder, rockets and losing a 28 point lead against Brooklyn told a ton about this team.

I'm not surprised with this team having warts, I am very surprised that this version of James Harden exists even against how terrible our defense has been.

Yes top 5 but anyone who has watched has known it's been swiss cheese defense all year and it can't stop a **** person. There's 0 lockdown ability in our defense.

Since one of them was his career high and since he's never been clutch in the playoffs I'd say this performance ironically so far. At least those two games are the best we've ever seen from Harden. When you factor in the circumstances that the games were very very close and he was extremely clutch and was the primary reason his team won.

Hell last game Embiid was throwing the game away as much as he could and Harden saw that, the entire team was frustrating, Tucker was yelling at Embiid and what did Harden do?

Mr. Clutch hits a game winning 3 no big deal nothing effects him in the playoffs.


This version of Harden I didn't foresee existing in 2023 in any scenario.

The team has it's deficiencies with it's approach and mental toughness, but a good coach could inspire/castigate/scheme then over the hump.

Joe is doing absolutely zero of those things.

Fire or demote Joe, bring in Nurse, and bolster our depth in the middle. We're right **** there on the doorstep, just like last season. That's why this is so frustrating.

Well when you mess around and lose close games you open yourself up to the risk of a bad shooting night, which is more of less what this was. Pritchard hit a few threes late but for most of the night the c's were shooting sub 30% from three, and when this team hits the same number of threes as the 76ers they aren't going to win. They need to take 40+ threes and hit in the high 30 percentage to win.

Derick White suddenly stinking, Robert Williams being a bad matchup in the series, Al Horford missing everything and the C's inability to figure out how to keep Jaylen involved late in games has killed them.

I admit, i don’t like Smart as a starter. We will never win it all with him as a starter. We need his energy and hustle off the bench. He is good defensively, but too much of a liability on offense. Teams have an easier time planning to defend the Jays with smart inside. You guys won’t see that because you are blinded by your love for marcus. I don’t blame you, he is the heart and soul of this team, but he should do his rarara cheering at the bench during crunch time.

The point was Marcus, like CP3 (in this aspect only), constantly keeps his eye on the play unfolding ahead when he walks the ball up the court ready to act if something opens up. It was specifically about the complaint about walking the ball up the court instead of running.

While we are all venting, I just want to get this off my chest.

This was a very good if not the best defensive team just last year. This year, they are still near the top, but you don't see the same focus, commitment, and intensity on defense as they showed last year. This is mainly because no one is holding them accountable anymore. The players get to choose when they want to play defense or not. That's the big difference. It doesn't help that Rob is a shell of his former self, but defense is really all about effort, and we just don't see that in this team right now.

Problem with Tatum has been as I wrote it previously is that he's turned into a certified CHUCKER. He will shoot ~20, 20+ times a game, even if he makes 1 shot. That's been an underrated problem for us. The other 2 this game for me were- Horfie, White and Brogdon being super pedestrian.

Problem with Tatum has been as I wrote it previously is that he's turned into a certified CHUCKER. He will shoot ~20, 20+ times a game, even if he makes 1 shot. That's been an underrated problem for us. The other 2 this game for me were- Horfie, White and Brogdon being super pedestrian.

And like Chuck said "the house was already on fire" before he stat padded in the 2nd half. You can't do that as the leader on this team and think everything is kumbaya.
