Yep it’s looking that way. Walsh is still really young but he isn’t going to get much PT it appears…especially if both Hugo and Scheierman are above him in the depth chart.

I still am of the belief Walsh and Hugo play different positions. Walsh was lapped by Minott.

Both wings imo. I think Minott is more of a 3/4. He can legit play the 4 where I think Walsh is a bit small.

Hugo and Minott are way ahead of some other Guys on this Team.

I was surprised to learn that Hugo is 6-6.25 barefoot.

That means Hugo is closer to being 6-8.
He's taller than JB and Walsh.

If Hugo becomes a good shooter from 3pt land then we have a future All-Star.

The height and length of Hugo will make him an All-NBA defensive player and his ability to handle the ball and drive to the basket will make him a threat on offense.

Hugo will be our version of Amen Thompson.

Hugo's not playing in Maine.
He's been playing professionally since 2022.

The Euro League is way tougher than the G-League.

Hugo's just being a good soldier, but I don't think he wants to play in Maine on a regular basis.

Even Joe said Hugo getting minutes in the NBA is more valuable.

González does need to stay playing in Boston. Though, on the nights that Maine is playing, and Boston is not, but is at Home.
Though, that's probably not going to happen too often.

Yeah, sounds about right.

I understand some Celtic fans being upset about Brad picking Baylor instead of Filipowski, but Brad hit the jackpot with Hugo.

If there's a do over for the 2025 Draft, I think Hugo would be a lottery pick, maybe #10 to #14.

I wonder how he slipped so low?
No doubt Hugo has got experience.

According to a report I read, teams told Hugo they were going to pick him in the 1st round, but they wanted to stash Hugo in Europe for 1 more year.

Hugo would have none of that.

That's why the Cs were able to grab him because I believe Brad agreed to what Hugo was asking and that's to immediately play in the NBA.

Hugo isn't getting much of a chance to play, just like last season, overseas. This is a season without Tatum and Hugo still can't get any minutes. That's why I continue to say he needs to play a month or two for Maine. There isn't much minutes to go around with Brown, Hauser, Walsh and Minott right now.
If Simons if traded for a big around the trade deadline, that will fear up some minutes for Hugo and possibility Baylor.

Unpopular opinion, there is room for both Walsh and Hugo on our team/roster.

Pritchard unfortunately is getting too many minutes atm..

Thankfully he got some PT and took advantage of it.

I almost feel sorry for opposing players on offense who go at Hugo. He gonna eat you alive, gal.

I love Hugo, and I love Brad for drafting him. I see Hugo starting for us next year when we go for it again.

Who is he going to replace in the starting lineup?
Tatum, Brown, Queta, White or Pritchard?
I think Walsh and Minott are ahead of him for wing minutes. Maybe he can pass them as well as Hauser and Scheierman… but breaking into the starting lineup seems like a long shot at best.

I believe Hugo will eventually become the starter.

PP needs to go back to 6th man role.

Do the Knicks get past us last season with The Kat Burglar on our bench?
