This game was probably the worst we have played all season and we still won the ball game.
I still feel like we lost.
We needed the other young team to make a mistake and Brewer did us a favor for not calling timeout before the 5 second count.
KG made the play of the game.
Perkins was the star tonight.

I disagree hick. Ray costs us a lot of possessions b/c when he decides he is going to score he uses up most of the shotclock to set up his shot. I'm really baffled by Doc's dedication to Ray sometimes. He was so bad tonight yet he stayed in the game.
Of course noone played well and honestly you could tell this was coming pretty early in the game since we were really lethargic in the first quarter. I'm starting to think we should sit some guys for games, we looked tired despite a pretty nice homestand.

Yuck all around.
Gee, who was that saying how Ray's injury was mild? Dude lost feelings in his fingers and that doesn't just go away with a day's rest. Right now he's damaged goods.
Great game by TONY ALLEN. Two in a row he looked healthy.
Perkins= 21 points 80% shooting.
Nuff said give him a freaken cart of cigars.

In the heat of the moment, outside of "tank" seasons, no, I'd never root for a loss. And was not tonight. But, I'm concerned that this team may need something to actually jar them from their recent slumber.

Ray's a veteran star- so regardless of whether he is shooting well, he's gonna be in the game.
That's how the NBA works

I think the all star game will help. I could be making up exscuses, but we were going pretty hard before this 5-4 record. Also we aer starting to accumulate injuries. We all shrug off an injury to Posey but it matters.

Someone who can read lips: Any way to get a transcript of KG's "post game comments"?
I caught only some it, like "that's what I'm ****ing talking about" and the last part, "**** that ****".

I wasn't thinking so much the end of the game but that stretch where he missed like 4 shot in 6 posssions with a couple of turnovers and defensive lapses.

I would think after you let a team shoot 71% from downtown and beat you at home that would have woken them up. That has not been the case thus far. Lets be honest since the 4-0 west coast trip this team has played exactly like they did tonight more times than not.

Perhaps. Hey, I'm not a doom and gloom kind of guy. I like to consider myself fairly level-headed. I'm trying to call it as I believe I may be seeing it.
The silver lining, beyond Perk's game, was Pierce's game to me. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the results didn't show it, but I chalk this up as a successful game from him because of his tenacity to take it to the hoop. I try to seperate a successful strategy and a successful outcome, because they aren't always on and the same.

That's because you've probably seen one or two games.
That's what I was thinking as I read that post.
Oh and Darrendaye, I think the exact oppostie of Pierce's game tonight. Every game he's played during this bad stretch has been excellent.
But tonight I see a Pierce who had to bail out a passive KG on offense and a **** offensive player in Ray tonight by taken it to the hole. Tonight was a expensive game on Pierce and these knicks and knacks pile up over a course of a season. Pierce having to force the issue and constantly battle PFs and Centers for us to win is a sign that we faild tonight as a team. Unless were facing a team like SA,DET we shouldn't have to resort to that kind of punishment on Pierce till the playoffs.

I'm trying to call it as I believe I may be seeing it.Unless you're in the locker-room you're really just guessing about what's bubbling under the surface. The injuries have taken a toll, for sure. But, I've been whining about the offense well before the calender turned to 2008.

Yeah I liked what Pierce did. Got to the FT line and made all of them, and did a great job passing and rebounding.
