Stretch......like Horford hitting a 3 at the top of the key?

No more ballhogging getting in the way of Tatum & Brown's development. Time for them to ascend to superstardom.

Horford was actually playing pretty dang well. The Thunder were winning games, so they pulled the plug on him.

I still want another another shooting scoring 3-4 type.

Oklahoma City will let him score a ton and absolutly trade him for positive value when he is an expiring. This is such a short cited move to save a little luxary tax money and leaves us with fewer assest to attract a real third star.
I HATE this trade. Brad Stevens just got taken advantage of by Same Presti.
Brown is solid he is worth a late 1st but we couldnt even get OKC to send back one of the later low ist round picks? Bad deal

Today's trade has a lot to do with $$ and flexibility, but there's also an element of Brad bringing back a player I don't think he ever wanted to lose in the first place.
Don’t think there’s much evidence for that. Kemba for Horford has been talked about for a year.
When Kyrie bolted 2 years ago I was told that Brad preferred to keep Al, whereas DA wanted to bring in Kemba instead and roll with Theis/Kanter at C. Brad felt like the young players responded really well to Al's leadership and Al was a bridge from coach to young players.
Let's not forget the team came within a 4th quarter of making the NBA finals with rookie Tatum, 2nd year Brown, Rozier, Smart, Morris and Horford. Horford is the type of player that does so much that doesn't show up in the box score. His impact goes beyond what the common fan can see.
$$ and age aside, I still like this move even if we'r only talking about Kemba for Al. Al never has been a high flyer....He plays an old school game that features a high Bball IQ, underrated passing skills, ability to stretch the floor, terrific communication skills, and leadership on and off the floor.
This team will immediately be better simply by having Horford back on the floor.

I think the trade will work out tho al will fit right back in even Moses Malone I mean brown is quietly pretty good basically whiteside with a brain and more effort. Not to mention he ate us for lunch in that game this year.
Now let’s package Tristan and grant for a backup point and possibly a 3D guy.
