Think Zach Lavine will take the $6.4 million MLE if the Celtics guarantee for 3 years? Lavine might be nice coming off the bench.

Off that list, given our roster and cap, I'd like:
- Warren
- DiVencenzo
- Gallo
- Smith
- Payton
- Porter

B Brown would be good if we moved either White or Smart for another trade.
I like Nurkic but too expensive. I imagine Robinson will be too expensive but I like him a lot.

Didn't we just go through this with the Nets?

They're not getting two All Stars for Durant. After all this he's probably just going to end up staying in Brooklyn

And how many teams even have 2 all stars? And certainly not two all stars for a 34 year old.

This is just Twitter talk in my opinion

Good post. I look at it as this --> we need to add 3 rotation players that can contribute in the Finals. A big, a swing player, and a point. I have faith in DWhite. But Grant Pritch and Theis all need to be jumped over in the depth chart. Plus we need an additional big to reduce minutes to Horf and RWill in the regular season. We need a lot more than what I've been reading if we're going to win it all.

I don't think Grant needs to be "jumped" in the depth chart. But he probably should me more at 20 minutes/game instead of the 28 he played in the playoffs this year. And then Horford should have his minutes cut by 8-10 from the 35 per game he played these playoffs. So that right there carves out your Gallo or other stretch 4 minutes.

A better big than Theis would be nice but he's more than ok enough to fill that regular season slot. It just leaves us dependent on health for Rob/Al, but there's always a limit to how much resources you can allocate to someone who you don't want in your playoff rotation other than injury.

Ok that's fair. Imo Stevens can't work around the edges. Opposition injuries were a part of our success. And the opposition is gearing up as there's no clear favorite yet. I want Stevens to go bold and capitalize on our core now. We gotta big target on our back now. Let's meet the challenge.

Should ALWAYS be exploring big time improvements. Wouldn't be doing your job otherwise. But I genuinely do think mostly running it back should be an option. I really, really, really like our top 7 players and how they fit. I genuinely think we just need to add to that vs swapping any of them out, obviously unless something good came up (i.e. Durant).

I think the goal this offseason should be two more guys for the playoff rotation who can SHOOT. I don't even care if they're our 8th and 9th overall players in the rotation, but they should be the 1st and 2nd best shooters in the rotation. I think the biggest part of the offensive stagnation we had at times was lack of spacing. All of our top 7 are "all around" type of players vs. true floor spacers. Just inject a bit of spacing into the lineup and I think you see it pay huge dividends.

The only team that can make that deal is the Lakers. This is going to be KD/Kyrie for AD/Russ or nothing if those demands stand

That’s exactly how I’d play it if I were the Nets, too.

Mind, the wording of the tweet (“at least two”) means they WOULD accept a third All Star if offered:)

We're gonna end up giving DET 2 2nds for Burks to end the TPE saga at 6 2nd rounders and 4-5 foot surgeries.

I would actually prefer Jalen Smith to Gallo. Get a young 22 year old center that can shoot and become Horford's replacement.
