Best win of the season. :D

We cried too when we found out Brown is out for multiple weeks and we are playing bucks next week

It's OK, if Middleton plays the Celtics don't have a chance anyways. At least that's what I hear.

Wait a min Middleton still injured ??????

As it should be. They’re loaded now and gave up two role players for a top 5 player in the league.

It’s ok to admit they’re likely now the favorites and have the best duo in the league lol. Will depend on health (like it always does online playoffs) but they’re gonna be a tough out

But they really aren't, though. They have no defense. We're legitimately spending 12 pages saying, "Oh jeez, Celtics are effed they have no shot". Still have the best record in the league and still favored by Vegas.

Edit: 16 pages. My bad. Thats even friggin worse.

Lol ok if you think this move doesn’t move the needle for the Suns or is overhyped then so be it. I guess I value landing a top 5 player over a good defender in Mikal Bridges

Never said it wasn't a needle mover. But putting them automatically over Boston Milwaukee Denver GSW is very preemptive when in reality all 4 teams probably beat them in 7.

He’s been playing the last 8 games. No reason he won’t play.

Yes, but once again, when are they ever 100 percent healthy?
Certainly haven't it seen it this season, at least not for more than one or two games at a time.
And Rob, Rob, Rob, how can you even count on him?
Don't even know if he'll be healthy for the Playoffs or can make it through an entire series unscathed...

Celtics haven’t been healthy since 2008. I have no idea what these people are smoking.

Perfect...

Not sure what the cost would be though..

Honestly they need a Pritchard type of guy and someone to take some salary off their books as well which saves them a lot of money in Tax $$.. (there tax bill like 3 times the overage I think??) (That would make Cams salary the equivalent of about 18 Million in extra cost about his 6 million payroll hit)

And we have a TPE that fits Cam PERFECTLY.

The most likely scenario is that Pritchard is going to be traded for a wing. Given how Kornet and G. Williams handled Embid last evening, I don't see Stevens going out and begging for another center, although a C/PF piece might work.

As for Brown's absence, they have plenty of guys who can fill the scoring void and that's also 4-5 less dumb turnovers per game.

KD and Kyrie will be asking for trades next year. They're top 5 divas.

KD not admiting fault for influencing the FO. Do we need to bring up the DeAndre Jordan fiasco that led to giving away Jarret Allen?

Maybe behind the scenes dirt will come out - Harden wanted to leave, too.. but from the outside that FO did everything they effing wanted, they picked their own coach and then got him fired, they gave Jordan's rattling bones a big contract..

Grant Williams for Cam. Nets need a lovable goofball to lighten up the atmosphere.

Cam Johnson fits into the Denis Schroder TPE. Could probably give them Pritchard and a pick and that might be enough.

Exactly.

Most will see that as a bit of an underpay but they are still in Tax.

Low risk high reward type of move as Cam has the potential to be a starting PF/SF on this team moving forward. Guy gives what is needed as either a super sub Forward or a sharp shooting starter.

KD was once said to have a favorable opinion of the Celtics organization and/or fans after seeing how warmly his teammate Perk was treated upon his return to Boston.

Over this iteration of the Warriors? Absolutely. I think it’s as of this moment Suns and Nuggets in WCF and then yes Boston or Milwaukee.

The landscape has dramatically shifted as West is a bloodbath now and East is just Bucks and Celtics imo

I mean...that same Warriors team just won a title... Gotta still give that core its respect.

Look, I never said the Suns can't win. What I'm saying is hold off on crowning them since there are still legitimate holes on that squad. Mainly that they couldn't stop a nose bleed. The only thing missing from that team is MDA coming back to coach them.

We are not keeping both Grant and Cam so it makes sense to use Grant as the trading chip and save a pick.

Suns improved no doubt, I just don't think they are better than us still....CP3 is over the hill, Booker is over hyped, Ayton is over paid...Durant helps a lot...our team still edges them out in my opinion.

Raptors traded a top 6 protected first in 2024 and 2 seconds for Poeltl. Celtics weren't matching that price
