Probably if the Celtics added ANY of the NBA's supposed 75 greatest players in his prime, they'd have beaten the Warriors last season, Paul Arizin not excepted.

After the game was out of reach, refs tried to even it out a bit, "only" 37-17 at the end. Lakers will not win a game unless they have 15-20 extra free throws. Call me crazy but for this to happen this often for 4 months is insane.

I did the same thing back in 2010....................Still the most devasting loss I've ever seen from any of my sports teams ever. I just thought it would be cool to have our vets be apart of celtics vs lakers history by facing them twice in the finals. Unfortunately I got my wish. Wasn't worth it.

Jordan, Russell, and Kareem were all better.

Thats how much the 2008 celtics had to dominate the lakers to overcome the leagues involvement in making the lakers look good, like they did in game 7 of 2010.

This is very irrational, but I have a nagging conspiracy theory utah is going to jump in the lottery for ainge helping the lakers out so cheap

The Lakers do have 2 of the most dominant players in the league and both are healthy now. Westbrook was such a bad fit. The Utah trade isn’t really the main reason why the Lakers are playing so well. Vanderbilt helps their D and DLo can be a scorer on a good day but Beasley has been MIA - I expected him to be a factor. However, it’s really been the play of Reaves, Hashimura and Schroeder that has elevated their play in my opinion.

I do not want to face Lakers in finals. They are like the Celtics last year - when healthy they ended the season as best team after trade deadline despite a terrible start.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Some of the Lakers free throw disparities are so bad. Last night was right on that pace and even with the refs giving the Warriors a little 9-0 foul shot advantage to end the game it was still +20 for Lakers attempts. Their style makes them shoot more than most teams, but +20 is something else.

Lebron and AD played 27 min together last night and had and offensive rating of 138 and a defensive rating of 86. The was against a very talented GS team. When you dominate like that you get fouled a lot. I’m sure there was home cooking but Lebron and AD at their peak are so physical the defense ends up fouling. I worry more about the talent than the refs.

But the issue is the talent PLUS the refs.

The issue is the refs. If it were talent alone they'd be an easier out than the Warriors, Nuggets and Suns.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet:

1. Good chance Bronny goes to USC.
2. Zach Edey is opening eyes according to one super agent who is in LA right now.

I think LA is going to beat GSW. I want to see AD having to actually guard an offensive center for a round instead of what he's faced so far. I'm not saying he isn't doing his thing or they can't beat Denver but LA hasn't faced anyone who can give AD a problem on either end. Could also be phx but I'm rooting for big JOK.

Joker just went into the crowd to get the ball and the Suns owner snatched it, Joker shoved and got a tech. **** owner should be ejected.

The owner actually had the ball and Jokic tried (unsuccessfully) to snatch it, then pushed him. Delay of game on the Suns and a tech on Jokic would be the right call imo

Booker decided at some point this season he just isn't missing shots anymore.
