Maybe so but how do you score 6 points the rest of the way with an 84-68 lead at the 8:40 mark? That’s ridiculous!!!! There was a stretch where this team went 0-7. My goodness that’s awful!!!! I don’t wanna hear about fatigue. The Knicks played heavy minutes as well.

Not sure why it took so long to apply the strategy.
Without Robinson, Knicks are soft in the interior.
It also wasted two fouls so when Jrue fouled Brunson at the end of the game, it would have been a first in the last two minutes, and had them side out. Instead, they were in the bonus and he put us away with two free throws. Awful coaching there, Washburn is right to question it.

The Celtics shot poor % from 3 all year..i think everybody except Pritchard and White were below last years numbers. It was obvious they would go cold in the playoffs and with a broken JB to save their **** by getting to the paint, they would be cooked. Mazzula has absolutely nothing.

The sad part is it’s one thing if the Knicks were playing lights out . You would say kudos to them . But it’s not that way. The Knicks are just hanging around and the Celtics meltdown in the end. If they get swept by this knicks team it would be just another horrible playoffs performance by this group.

He’s 27.
With his lack of speed and explosion compared to some other wings his inability to get good shots will probably only get worse as he ages.
We’re not talking about a LeBron level bball iq and athlete who gets to 30 and unlocks this pick apart the defence with ease offence.
Tatum should be peaking now.
He is what he is essentially. A great all around guy who struggles at times badly with scoring and it gets really ugly particularly in clutch playoff moments.
That's why I said "not a finished product".
JT tried to transform from being a silky smooth KD type player to a now more physical and bigger player.
So JT will have to play more inside the paint when he gets older.
Right now he's trying to be a young Lebron.
But like what you said, maybe there's a lack of speed and explosion.
Give it time because this is not the Jayson Tatum will see in the near future.

I think that's possible because if the Cs exit in this 2nd round, it will be a much easier decision for the owners to break up the team.
JB, Jrue, and KP will all go.
The Cs will build around Tatum, White, and maybe Giannis, if Brad can pull it off.

I’d love for us to run more cuts, etc. obviously not happening. It’s odd the team missed so many 3s again especially the open ones.
That last play was a travesty.

I thought Brown was okay, the problem is Tatum was so bad that he essentially needed to have a huge game which I don’t think he has in him with his knee.
Reality is this teams success hinges on Tatum.
He can’t be shooting at 29% in a series. That’s just absurdly bad.
How many turnovers did brown have.

JB has a bad knee
Al can't play big minutes on short rest at his age
Jrue is coming off a hamstring injury
Kristaps has been greatly diminished by a mystery illness
Hauser has a sprained ankle
The depth frontcourt players we had last yr (Brissett, Tillman) are not available anymore
it looks like we don't have enough
I'm not gonna pile on JT and JB, who've been great Celtics, because they had two bad games
But this is a severely depleted team, and the coach isn't going to use Queta or Scheierman. And that's it, we don't have the horses

The stat guys are not here to provide us with the numbers, but I'm pretty sure the Cs have a horrible win-loss record when they shoot 30% or less from 3pt land.

Yeah I just checked the stats and realised he had 7 turnovers.
To be honest the third and fourth quarters are blurs to me.
I remember multiple sloppy ass turnovers. Now that I think about it he was involved in several of them.
Also can’t believe he finished 8/23 after his start.
