Baylor's bad shooting from summer league is carrying over in the preseason.

That block by Hugo was sick. As he was running down the court I was thinking "oh man, here we go. He's gonna block it!"

Then he did..timed it just right. Great play.

Sometimes he does, but that’s not a bad thing. This is his first NBA game. I will say he looks better than all the other drafted guys in their first game since, maybe Pritch? I really don’t remember to be honest.

It probably won't happen in the regular season - except maybe in garbage time. Cause we'll have Simons, Pritchard, white and JB playing all the mins at PG..

He's a decent ball handler though, or moving in that direction.

Joe seems to be experimenting with finding a big guard to initiate. After White went out we've seen Hugo and Harper. Mixed results so far, but it's preseason, so why not take a look.

Harper played SF/PG for us in Maine, last season.

I was surprised he was able to run point at all. I didn't know his ball handling was as good as it is. And his athleticism is legit, which is what the scouting reports said, but you never know until you see it on an nba court.

From the time we drafted Rico until today I find he is More of a creator and less of a shooter than when I originally thought

Scheierman plays like he is coming into the game with 5 minutes left in a blowout. Celtics need more from him than that. Needs to play solid

Yeah, he does seem to play the PG fairly well. That's the hardest position. If he can sub-in at times, that would really be great.

Ok, it seems like Luis' 2-way contract could be in serious jeopardy.

Harper, Amari, Bridges and Kendall Brown - all in the game..but still no Luis.

Wonder if the knee is still bothering Luis? He missed all of summer league with knee soreness..

Yeah, that would be a no-go, if he can't play at least as a Two-Way.

I think he'll get some preseason mins at some point. He was the last addition to the preseason roster so he has the least amount of practice time with the team compared to the other guys.

But seems like he would probably get cut before the season starts.

I think with Joe it's a seniority issue. Luis is late to the party, I expect he'll get some burn in the next game or so, but who knows.

Not sure about the knee, but I think he's going to be overall better than those guys once he gets an opportunity.
