I missed the game...
I was following the boxscore online and did see highlights. My first question: why didn't TA play more minutes in the first half?
Also, second question: I am aware Toronto was insane from behind the arc. Did our defense contribute to giving them good looks or were they just really hot?

Why didn't TA play more? Doc.
Defense or shooting? A little of both really.

This is a good analysis. It proves that our team deserves to be in the basement of the league with your team.
LOL what do the knicks have to do with anything. btw am more of raps fan then knick, as the raps have slowly won me over since their inception (canadian).
as for the analysis, of course the raps arent going to shoot 71% from 3point land. but they aren't goin to get outshot by 20 shots. neither are the celtics goin to average 20+ shots on the opposition.
raps shot well, but they didn't play perfect as some of you seem to suggest. celtics had subpar game, but to's and offensive rebounding kept them in the game. thus the reason for no blowout.

You are a fan of two different teams from the same division? That gives you technically 40% chances of celebrating a division championship each season! Very smart! (If I were you, though, I would have chosen the Celtics and the Nets.)

All I have to say is WHATEVER.
Toronto couldn't stop us from getting layups all night. They won by a bucket despite it being every Toronto player's birthday.
If I were a Raptors fan, I'd be (a) pretty excited about the win, and (b) aware this team will never shoot this well again...ever.
So we lost by 2 on a night when Toronto couldn't miss. OK.
The only thing that bothers me is how open the shooters were. Rondo should be ashamed of himself tonight. Love the kid, but how many times can you try to go over the screen and get burned??????????????
And how Doc cannot realize Toronto is running the same play 80 times in a row?
But again, whatever. Toronto shoots less than 80% from 3 and we win easily.
