I forget, what Minni pick do we have? Is that the one that converts to 2 second rounders if not triggered this season as a 1st?

I'm sure it's been said, but lets imagine a glorious draft of pick 5 (nets) 9 (Dallas) 14 (Minni), our picks and the extra second rounders...

Fixed the above for the EXTREME Optimism lol. Also I'm not so sure if something like that happens we trade those away. The Nets/Mavs picks could be top 10 and more than likely we don't get the Minny pick.

Way too early to decide but what do people think if we had a top 5 pick and around 10 from Dallas, would your preference be to trade or keep them?

Hahah, I'd take that. I'd even take just one of those coming off.

It would all depend on who we were trading for. The numbers crunch is going to start getting real very soon so a few consolidation trades will be very helpful.

TONIGHT IT BEGINS!!!

Chicago in Brooklyn. Sucks that the Bulls have a back to back already but they played their bench a decent amount. With Noah and Gibson off the bench only logging about 20 minutes last night they should be ok. Jimmy Butler (37 mins), Gasol/Rose (32) played the most.
Hopefully we can see the Nets start off in the hole. I think someone posted their first 20 games and they look brutal

I guess this will be the thread where we keep track of their progress for this season! Should this be sticky?

In Dallas, Deron is on a minute restriction and Parsons is still injured for opening night

Brooklyn will be missing their starting point guard in Jarrett Jack as well

I think the first 20 or so games will determine the Nets season. The players on their roster seem like the type to throw in the towel when things go wrong early. Brooklyn has a tough schedule to start the season so let's see what happens

Well that was satisfying. The Bulls bench would make a fine tank squad - old friend 3-Twaun Moore somehow managed to lose the ball on consecutive uncontested jumpshots - but the Nets starters wouldn't have any of that.

Dallas crushed Phoenix, which is good as long as they don't keep it up.

The first guy off Dallas's bench was old friend Dwight Powell. It'd take a miracle for them to keep this up.
