Hey Suns, do us a favor, win some games please!

@uuords: Donald Sloan (upper respiratory) is out. Tony Brown added Bogdanovic will likely sit.

Brooklyn tank in full effect.

Danny probably promised Sean Marks to sell the Cleveland 2nd rounder to the Nets if they sit some of their guys lol.

What a potential gift, I'd say 4th worst is locked up and 3rd is back in play. I'm not surprised this was the right thing to do Marks isn't responsible for the picks being traded but he would have been held responsible if Brook had a serious injury that would keep him out of next season. I would have done the same thing and likely done it sooner. I'm not saying this as a biased fan either lol he had to protect his best assets.

If you told me right after we traded franchise cornerstones Jason Terry and DJ White to the Nets that we'd have a chance at a 50-win season AND also a chance at a top 3 lottery pick in the 3rd season, I would've said you were absolutely crazy.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking...maybe even the Philly or Twolves pick.

Shouldn't we speculate on a larger scale. Why on earth would you shut down both of them - especially Young. A long season? Really? Let's dream for a second that Marks has already made up his mind to tear it down and trade these guys for draft picks. Therefore why risk injury in playing them. I believe this could be part of the decisionmaking even if they aren't torally sure

This Nets/Pels game is one of the worst things I've ever seen.

My comment was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek hence the lol at the end. Shutting down Young and Lopez (should've been done earlier but whatever) is a smart move by their GM. They're just protecting their two best assets seeing the season/draft pick is now lost anyways.

EDIT: Oh wait, you're saying the opposite. You think it's not the right move?

This might be the scrubbiest collection of scrubs two teams have ever put on the court at the same time. Gross.

I called the Pelicans beating the Nets. Let's hope I'm right about a Suns win also .

No nothing too deep here. I'm just encouraged that trading these guys in the off-season seems to be a real consideration. Why would anyone make this move without injuries? If these guys are traded, it dramatically ramps up the value of the 17 and 18 BRK picks. Maybe I'm reading into it too much. IMO if these guys stay, we're looking at picks around #10 and hopefully not worse

The nets are going to be even worse next year. Both Philly and LA are going to surpass them.

I would settled for the Suns and Nets to have identical records.

All right, I'm prepared to sell my soul for a Mavs loss, and Houston and Phoenix wins today. You hear me, whatever malevolent cosmic entity may be out there? Let's make a deal.

Guys, if anything bad happens to me, just remember that I took one for the team...
